Satan tempted Eve. She had the power to say no. She lost her spirit which caused her to lose her mind. Even Adam knew it was wrong but went along with it so he could stay with Eve. When you say it was a mind trick you make it sound like she was powerless to resist it. Then you mention psychadellic drugs. There is no LSD in the Bible. You are just throwing that in again.

It wasn't like Adam was crazy. He tried to blame it all on Eve right afterwards, saying the woman you gave me made me do it. He acted like he couldn't say no to her either.

The point is that everyone is responsible for what they let into their mind and everyone is responsible for who they let rule their heart. Adam should have told Eve that she wasn't going to drag him down with her. Then at least he could have stayed in the garden. The fact was he was no better than she was.

Women have weak power over their spirits and men have weak power over their hearts. They have to strive to overcome this but it is very hard because the flesh is weak when the spirit is willing. You need to rely on Christ to overcome these shortcomings.

Women need to put God's word before good sounding ideas. Men need to put God's love before the desires of the heart.

In essence we are all inadequate before God.
