This news release makes me think they might be blasting for silver, and that is what is causing the quakes. November 02, 2010 Lucky Boy Silver Corp Receives $1,500,000 Financing Commitment Blaine, WA, November 2nd, 2010- Lucky Boy Silver Corp. (LUCB --OTCBB) a diversified precious metals exploration company focused on premium Nevada based silver and gold exploration, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an equity financing agreement for up to $2,500,000 with a private British Virgin Island investment group. Under the terms of the agreement, the Company may from time to time request a purchase of up to $250,000 per request. On October 28, 2010 Lucky Boy Silver Corp. received its first fund draw of $225,000 and issued 346,154 restricted shares and intends to use the proceeds for operating expenses, acquisitions, working capital and general corporate activities. Under the terms of the agreement, Lucky Boy may draw up to a total of $1,500,000 through October 19th, 2011. The investment group, at its discretion, may invest an additional $1,000,000 at $.65 when the total first round has been completed. All of the securities to be issued under the agreement have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent a registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements. Kenneth B. Liebscher, CEO of Lucky Boy Silver Corp. stated, "As the international demand for precious metals steadily increases, global demand for our potential silver and gold production will continue to increase significantly. We are eager to continue our in-depth evaluations on our Black Butte and Lucky Boy properties strategically located in Nevada's historic major gold trends. In addition we have commissioned geological reviews and sampling on our Candelaria and Silver Summit holdings. This financial commitment and initial infusion allows us to aggressively evaluate our current Nevada holdings, explore additional acquisitions, complete their evaluations and focus on our corporate growth and, most importantly, build shareholder value". It was Governor Balzar, a former citizen of Hawthorne, who in 1928 turned the first shovel of dirt and dedicated the new munition depot, which was officially opened in 1930. To this day, the U.S. Army Ammunition Depot, the world's largest facility of its kind, is the focal point of economic survival in Hawthorne, employing some 600 of the town's 4900 or so total inhabitants and injecting over $22 million into the local economy annually. When approaching Hawthorne from the North on Highway 95, along beautiful Walker Lake, a major tourist destination, the first thing the traveler will notice is the myriad underground ammunition bunkers marching like soldiers across the valley in which Hawthorne sits. At the beginning of the Gulf War in 1991, Hawthorne saw the huge 16-inch gun barrels stored at its ammunition depot resurrected for service on the World War II-era battleships patrolling the Persian Gulf. True to its name, Mineral County is rich in mineral resources. During the Nevada mining boom of the 1980's, historical gold and silver mining areas such as Candelaria, Aurora, Santa Fe, and Rawhide saw renewed activity. These workings were and continue to be a source of much-needed cash for this small Nevada town. "You can bend it and twist it... You can misuse and abuse it...
