Freemason license plate

You do NOT have to prove you are member to get one. I know. I have one. Rather, my partner does and its on my car.

I have a Templar Emblem on my car of my Order and I still got a ticket, ... oh well.

I still try and explain sometimes. All the men in my family have been Masons so I feel it is my duty out of honor and respect. But then again....sometimes I have to recognize that there are people that will never accept what they do not understand.

I have a great friend who is a member of the Masonic Lodge in my town and he is a great guy, he was "invited" to join due to his connections with the Navy SeaBee's and being in construction his whole life. He is not rich, as a matter of fact, he is more poor than I am. I have helped him financially several times. So, I would say lumping all masons is a joke. It is just like anything else. The higher into the ranks you get, typically on the National Level, that is where the corruption and dirty deeds take place. Don't lump everyone into this "I want to puke" group. People who are as narrow minded as you "make me"want to shoot you...so save me the trouble and go shoot yourself...

Your friend may be a Mason, but he was not invited to join. It is against the rules to invite an initiate. One must join of their own free will.


There are other organizations, such as The Fraternal Order Of The Eagles, in which you can be given the gift of membership.

In England women have their own Freemason orders and their own lodges.

Couldn't take the time to read the whole thread, but as a traveled square I just have a few points and I'll be on my way.

1. FreeMasonry is not nor has it ever been a religion. The religious aspects are in no way able to control a members religion or beliefs in a Diety.
2. Just as many men who go about life living in ignorance travel through FreeMasonry in ignorance, sad as it is. You cannot trust everything you hear, as there are both clandestine masons and lodges among us.
3. Masonry itself is a job laying bricks and building monuments. FreeMasonry and everything the organization stands for is built off of this through allusion and symbols. Nothing more.

I am both a FreeMason and a born-again christian. All of what you hear and rumors you pass on (in ignorance) are built off of conspiracy theories.

In the end, being a Mason has no more control over your religion than joining a Catholic School's Soccer Team. It has some historical biblical references and its members/development overtime can be connected to biblical references (in more than one regligious book, mind you), but it in no way tells you what to believe.

Oh yeah and any 'mason' who claims to tell you the secrets of the organization is either not a mason, or can't be trusted on his word. Any FreeMason that has been through initiation will understand that much.

Truth should be the right of every spirit upon this earth. The profane ignorant sheep, as you refer to them, are that way because they are living under deception. This causes confusion, and the confusion leads to destruction.

My grandfather was a mason, and many times I've thought of visiting a lodge, because I realize the deception, and I want the truth. I also realize that it shouldn't just be my right to have this truth. It should be there for everybody. Maybe these words are wrong because if I knew what the truth was, I wouldn't think that. I'm willing to accept that.

This bickering over who is right, wrong, true, false - when will it end? Is it impossible to live in harmony with each other?

I have no problems with people who are masons, and in fact, I have respect for people who join for the right reasons - enlightenment. I just wish there wasn't a desire to control everything. I can only hope it's for a good purpose, and not an evil one.
