There is only one requirement as far as i know to become a mason, you have to be a superstitious idiot who will believe what you're told, and do as you're told without questioning it. those at the top use you as a tool. It is a fool that gives up so much for so little.

I used to think Masons were evil until I researched further.
The fact of the matter is ANYONE from ANY group can be evil.
Conspiracy theorists sometimes takes things too far without fully understanding.
People are afraid of that which they do not understand and they seek to stop it.
But if they would truly stop and think about it they would understand that evil comes in all forms as does goodness.
You can not blame an entire faith based upon the works of some.
If you could then where would that leave christianity?
I applaud the Masons for welcoming all faiths and creeds.
I believe they if any are closer to true enlightment.

No, they are Brotherhoods who are loyal, honorable and hold the keys to many of the secret mysteries that are kept from the profane in "our current" man made society. You have 2 ways of learning "these secrets.

1. Join and work your way up the top
2. Have the Rite blood, soul and intelligence to be in contact with the spirit world who will reveal these secrets to you.

My state offers them, but I've never actually seen one on the road. You have to prove you are a member in order to get one, and I was always under the impression that membership in the organization was secretive.

And, maybe this is the gubments way of figuring out who is a member. Hmmmm.

The problem is largely the modern American interpretation of Christianity. It is more about the threat of hellfire and worshiping Jesus in certain specified manners than it is about living life according to the philosophy Jesus espoused. Modern American Christianity is about power and money, not about fellowship and neighborliness. The Masons try to live life by a moral code, whereas modern Christianity is about preachers building power structures and not wanting competition.

That would be easy to figure out which tires to slash and which cars need keying... eh?

Then go find one and ask.
