could have been, but everything I have read say sundogs occur when when the sun is low in the sky. This was straight up and happen @ 1pm. Whatever it was, it was awesome and I hope to see it again. OP I live in the Boro but currently working out of town.Yeah,sundogs are real common late afternoon here. I do a good bit of sky watching, but I do admit, mostly after dark. I will certainly be more observant in the pre-dusk hours now. It is good to hear from someone else with Boro ties. I appreciate the reply.
