The boy is not in danger!

I think the writing on the wall was a call for help in ridding something. maybe Katie was trying to tell you she was helping your son perhaps there is something truly evil in that flat and since this Katie spirit was around you before, she is attempting to help. when it said "Katie help" the first thing I flashed on was that it was someone trying to alert you that they had tried to help, not that they required help.
