If he walked around for 40 days, then took off. Then what happened to his body?

Wait a second. Then what's the point of the resurrection where all the dead will get our bodies pieced back together?

Re: ****Did Jesus Take his Body W/ Him to Heaven?****
After his resurrection he went to Heaven and served as the High Priest that cleansed the heavenly tabernacle with is Holy Blood. Remember he told Mary not to touch him since he had not ascended yet to the Father. He was dressed in white as the High Priests were dressed when they went into the Holy of Hollies in the Tabernacle each Passover. He then returned to Earth 8 days later and presented himself to the rest of his Apostles (remember doubting Thomas). Then on the 40th day after his resurrection he went back to Heaven to prepare it for all believers.

When he was resurrected he had his immortal body, which all believers will have some day as well. That body could travel at the speed of thought, levitate, appear and disappear, walk through walls and eat! The bible says the corruptible must put on incorruptible before inheriting heaven.

There is a good teaching on youtube.com I'll look for and post on this thread.

Actually Enoch and Elijah were taken to heaven without dying. It is believed they will be the two witnesses talked about in Revelations.

As well there is a verse that says when Yeshua rose from the tomb the old testament saints also rose and gave testimony in Jerusalem. So the old testament saints have already been resurrected.

UPDATED: Matthew 27:52-53

52And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

The bible makes it very clear that our corruptible bodies must put on incorruptibility to do any of those things Christ did when he was resurrected. Yeshua was God and by his divine power could have done those things at anytime. But he came to live as a MAN and to live by FAITH for an example to us who are not divine. After his Earthly mission was successful then he was the "first-fruits" that we are to be patterned after when we are resurrected.

Yeshua is the God of the Old Testament my friend!
 Quoting: Spawn

No relation my friend. The Christ isn't from the evil OT creator.

The Bible gave a warning about a dangerous, false prophet who would arise to test our faith in G-d. In Deuteronomy 13, G-d describes this false prophet as a member of the Jewish people (v. 2, 7) who would tell true prophecies and would have the power of miracles. G-d Himself would give this false prophet the power to perform miracles and reveal prophecy, but the false prophet would try to seduce the people away from G-d's Law and towards strange gods unknown to Judaism. The purpose would be to test whether we are truly committed to living under the Law, or whether we will be dazzled and fall for the temptation to join a false path to salvation (v. 3-6, 7-8, 11). In this Biblical passage, G-d repeatedly commands the Jews to kill this false prophet, lest the evil spread and destroy many souls.

To be accepted by the people, the false prophet would sometimes pretend to be a righteous Jew who fulfills the Law, but at key moments he would turn against certain details of the Law in order to make the breach (v. 6, 7). This is the reason that verse 1 commands us not to add or subtract any details from the Law, and verse 5 warns us to remain steadfast with all the traditions of the Law.

In Deuteronomy 17, this false prophet is also described as someone who would rebel against the authority of the judges of the Jewish people, and who should be put to death for his rebelliousness (v. 8-13, esp. v. 12). Who are the judges? The highest court in Israel was the Sanhedrin, which was established by Moses (Exodus 18:13-26; Numbers 11:16-29), and which lasted more than 15 centuries. The members of the Sanhedrin were the rabbis known as "Pharisees" (Pirushim, "those with the explanation"). G-d gave permanent authority to these judges to interpret the Law and G-d's Word, and it is a commandment to follow their decisions without turning even slightly to the right or the left (Deut. 17:11). But the false prophet would challenge the authority of the Sanhedrin, thus revealing himself to be an evil man.
