can CATS see other "dimensions" that we can't ??
why is it they're always staring at things and following intently that which appears to be nothing at all?

and what can science learn about their ability to access those dimensions?

Yes, that is why you eat them, absorb their powers. You couldn't enjoy the lovely sounds of the violin without cat gut. Why put up with cat farts when you can have Beethoven?

It is a known fact that Cat eyes do in fact have more bandwidth compared to Human eyes. The reason for this is that the Cat iris is naturally designed and tuned to operate at a wider spectrum and is optimized to work better at night. They have the equivalent of night vision goggles with built-in thermal imaging. So Cats do in fact sometimes see things that you cannot see. In fact, during the 1970s, a well known English physicist conducted an experiment using Cats to detect spirits of dead people who recently died in a medical school hospital. The results of the experiment were so convincing that the medical school board ordered the experiment shut down and all data burned. So what happened during the experiment? The Cat was able was observed rubbing up to an invisible person that wasn't visible. On one occasion an invisible person actually picked up the Cat which made it appear as if the Cat was actually levitating. The name of the Doctor who conducted the research was Dr. Rick Astley.

just putting this out there,

but perhaps the aliens, from their ETHERIC DIMENSION have alien cats as pets.

I would love to have a pulsating glowing orb as a pet.

There is a cat named Nikki at a friend's place who seems to follow something moving fast from left to right , up and down, when I arrive there for a cup of coffee. So I would believe that story

Could be moving orbs. They are quite fast and tend to zip in any direction, kind of how UFO's do.

They are imperceptible to the human eye, but they can be recorded on infrared nightvision camera.

I saw my cat from the astral plane once. It looked exactly like the Chesire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.

When I went out of body, and my real body was sleeping then, my cat looked at me and got excited and wanted to play, it could see me in the astral level. The second time, it was bouncy and scared the crap out of her, too much action I suppose.

Re: can CATS see other "dimensions" that we can't ??
I am not sure about other dimensions, but from my experience they can probably see things that most humans cant. They also seem to be in touch with things that are probably impossible to understand unless you've been there yourself.
I've seen them chasing things when I was in certain altered states of consciousness and I could almost make out what they were chasing. Also, if you've ever had a psychadelic experience around cats you would probably see that you may be on more common ground when your own mind is open and less cluttered(hopefully).
Now, I have a very special relationship with the cat at my house. She tries to communicate with me subtly sometimes.

Also, I think if there are in fact spirits, the might like cats in one way or another :]

I think they can see ghosts.
My daughter and I were up late discussing family stories about her grandpa and our cat started to creep us out as she started to bush up her hair, walking slowly-like a cat might if they see a dog staring at the wall directly above our heads. Fear was in her eyes.
I kept trying to block her sight from whatever it was but she would move to continue to look at what we couldn't.

Also, I think that they can put images into your mind when you're in the waking stage in the morning...once our cat made a strange half call-half purr when I was still in bed and this highly stylized Oriental painting of a bird came to my mind! Woe, is all I can say about that!

Yip i think so

Cats are interesting creatures, just there presence in the room has an effect on a person sub-concously.

Plus they could posibbly see more refined levels of light which we carnt see(other dimentions) hence why there eyes glow at night, different reflection, or sensor intake than human eyes.
