In fairness to Sean Quinn he is a self made billionaire. He began his business when he became unemployed from a factory job 20 years ago and started selling gravel and sand out of his yard. So the guy knows what being working class is. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1330011He is the little man who made it big and someone is jealous...wants to see him fall..it seems My husband and I have been speculating that it's only a matter of time before we see an all out, though behind-the-scenes, war between old money and the nouveau riche. All those hedge-fund billionaires - we'll soon learn which ones are genuinely clever, which are pedigreed (blue blooded) and the rest will be taken to the cleaners. This is what failed and ruined everything for him. So there could be something to the idea that the elites wanted him out of their game. |

He started a cement business and undercut the big cement and concrete suppliers in Ireland at the time huge contracts for construction and transport were coming on stream. All fair a square. He was known to be a great boss and people who worked for him were paid excellent pay and benefits. All this while becoming very wealthy. Yet he lived in a normal house and was not a show off. He gave millions to charity and stuff like community groups. He wasn't a scumbag at all. This is what failed and ruined everything for him. So there could be something to the idea that the elites wanted him out of their game. Sounds like he made a mistake by not consulting someone else before jumping into the insurance business. Perhaps he received the wrong info on purpose? He may have been a target. THis is just all theory of coarse, but ... |
