EXTREME WEATHER UNITED KINGDOM: SEVERE WARNING ISSUED - BRITAIN SEES ONE MONTH'S RAIN IN ONE NIGHT, AS "COLDER THAN THE ARCTIC" CONDITIONS HIT SCOTLAND!

Severe weather warnings were issued last night for large swathes of Britain as more torrential downpours are on the way. The soaking, which has seen the soggiest April in 100 years, will continue with a month's rain expected to fall tomorrow night. Motorists have been warned to take care as roads will be battered by gales reaching 50mph. ...

THE GREAT DELUGE & THE GREAT DROUGHT: STATE OF EMERGENCY - CITIES IN THE BRAZILIAN AMAZON FACE WORST FLOODS IN YEARS, AS THE NORTHEAST FACE WORST DROUGHT IN 30 YEARS!

A swath of the Brazilian Amazon is under a state of emergency as rivers overflow in one of the worst floods on record. The floods have been caused by the rising Rio Solimoes, one of the two main branches of the Amazon river, in places like Anama lying west of Manaus. While the region is experiencing one of the worst floods in history, the country's northeast...

Re: F.O.G.
What's causing all the record dry weather and mild winter temperatures in America?

The first week in January was the driest in U.S. history[/b] with more than 95 per cent of the U.S. reporting below-average snow.
About half of the U.S. had temperatures at least 5 degrees Fahrenheit above average during December.
Now meteorologists believe the atmospheric pressure pattern called the Arctic Oscillation is controlling the jet stream and causing records to be broken on a near daily basis.

Unusual atmospheric pressure over the Arctic has kept the jet stream far north, making way for warm, dry air from the south
This season we've been experiencing a strong straight jet stream which has been preventing the cold arctic air from drifting south.
Meteorologist Jeffrey Masters said: 'The cause of this warm first half of winter is the most extreme configuration of the jet stream ever recorded.'

Drought conditions still prevail in Texas after one of the driest years on record.
It has also prevented cold fronts from clashing with warm fronts, which leads to precipitation.
The lower edge of the Arctic Oscillation is called the North Atlantic Oscillation.
Greater variations in the NAO in recent years is another mystery scientists are trying to solve.

Re: F.O.G.
The Phoenix program envisions developing a new class of very small ‘satlets,’ similar to nano satellites, which could be sent to the GEO region more economically as a “ride along” on a commercial satellite launch, and then attached to the antenna of a non-functional cooperating satellite robotically, essentially creating a new space system. A payload orbital delivery system, or PODS, will also be designed to safely house the satlets for transport aboard a commercial satellite launch. A separate on-orbit ‘tender,’ or satellite servicing satellite is also expected to be built and launched into GEO. Once the tender arrives on orbit, the PODS would then be released from its ride-along host and link up with the tender to become part of the satellite servicing station’s ‘tool belt.’ The tender plans to be equipped with grasping mechanical arms for removing the satlets and components from the PODS using unique space tools to be developed in the program.

The traditional process of designing, developing, building and deploying space technologies is long and expensive. Through Phoenix DARPA seeks to hasten the insertion of emerging technologies into space system development at much lower cost.

Popocatépetl: The Mexican volcano is still churning away. Thus far, most of the activity has been subplinian plumes from the crater area as the new magma rises and fragments, but Mexican officials are not taking any chances. They will be distributing almost half a million dust masks to people living near the volcano if/when a larger explosive eruption occurs that could drop significant ash across much of the area.

Iliamna: We haven’t heard much from Iliamna in the past month or so after the volcano was downgraded to Yellow Alert status by AVO after a period of increased seismicity and degassing. The seismicity was reported to be back on the upswing at the end of last week according to the Alaska Dispatch. However, this blip (if real) didn’t cause AVO to change the status of Iliamna as the latest update just mentions seismicity at the volcano is “slightly above background”.

Lokon-Empung: Another volcano that has been quite active is Lokon-Empung in Indonesia. The volcano had an explosive eruption earlier last week, producing a 2.5 km / 8,200 foot plume. Although evacuations have not been called yet, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) has begun to set up evacuation centers in case the activity increases. Seismicity has been increasing at Lokon-Empung since last week’s eruption, but the alert status (Level III) is unchanged.

Slight discoloration of the sea at Fukutoku-Okanoba may suggest eruptive activity.
I haven’t been able to find too much in the news about the activity at Japan’s Iwo Jima (Ioto), however Eruptions reader Sherine did find some images of the activity at Iwo Jima, along with images of potential submarine activity at Fukutoku-Okanoba . As for descriptions, last week’s Global Volcanism Program Weekly Volcanic Activity Report mentions that a new fumarole has opened at Iwo Jima as well.

I've been watching the alert links for quite some time. Call it a gut feeling, but I think something major might take place this month.

Just prepare the best you can, and keep your eyes and ears open to what is going on.

College K-index peaked at 6.5 and is now down to 5.0.

This is from the CME from a few days ago finally hitting us, right?
 Quoting: whiteangel

Yes. We wrote about this on our solar blog and there is a "expected events" list on the right hand side that anyone can view at any time to see whats expected and when :)
[link to mysolaralerts.blogspot.com]

there has also been some other events on the sun over the last few days that will be effecting earth, but its hard to report on them with so much data being out at the time of events
When so much data gets lost/blacked out, then were left to a guessing game... it sucks :/

The CME's that 1476 are spewing, will they be earth directed as in head on or glancing?
 Quoting: whiteangel

Any CME that 1476 produces now will be earth directed
it also does depend on direction of ejection
but with 1476 being almost head on right now, if there was a CME right now, it would be hard to miss it

Email Alert from [link to www.naturalnews.com]

Dear NaturalNews readers,

I'm interrupting our normal email schedule to bring you an urgent alert that makes everything else seem insignificant by comparison.

The issues of GMOs, fluoride, food freedom and vaccines won't matter at all if we don't solve this far bigger issue that threatens human civilization: Fukushima reactor No. 4.

Right now, the reactor's spent fuel pool is just one earthquake away from a structural failure that could set off a chain of events leading to the release of anywhere from 10 times to 85 times the Cesium-137 released in the Chernobyl disaster.

Such circumstances caused one of Japan's former ambassadors to make the following extraordinary statement:

"It is no exaggeration to say that the fate of Japan and the whole world depends on No. 4 reactor." - Mitsuhei Murata, Former Japanese Ambassador to Switzerland and Senegal, Executive Director, the Japan Society for Global System and Ethics.

A failure of the reactor -- and the subsequent catastrophic release of Cesium-137 -- would decimate human life across North America, killing off crops, polluting groundwater, causing widespread infant stillbirths and unleashing an explosion in cancer rates. North America could become uninhabitable by humans for centuries.

Cesium-137 has a half-life of 30 years, meaning that if North America is blanketed with a layer of radioactive dust in 2012, that radioactivity will still be half as strong in the year 2042. It will drop by half again by the year 2072. By the year 2102, it might be low enough to where humans could start to re-colonize the continent, but even then, rates of cancer and birth defects would likely be off the charts.

Yet, as we speak, the mainstream media is running a total media blackout on this story. Governments are pretending there is no problem, and the corporations that built these nuclear facilities (like GE) are quietly running disinfo campaigns to convince everybody there is no problem.

I've just published an urgent feature story on this issue, outlining the facts about Fukushima reactor No. 4:
[link to www.naturalnews.com]

I've also reprinted an urgent press release from a coalition of organizations calling for urgent UN intervention to deal with Fukushima before it kills us all:
[link to www.naturalnews.com]

I'm urging you to forward and share these stories and help raise the alarm. Nothing else is important anymore. It doesn't matter who is running for President, what's in the vaccines, or whether GMOs are labeled if our civilization is dead from radiation!

NaturalNews is shifting our editorial priorities to focus on Fukushima. All other stories are being made secondary to this urgent issue.

I'm assigning coverage of Fukushima to our staff writers and investigators, so expect to see a lot more reporting on Fukushima until (and if) this Reactor No. 4 problem is properly addressed.

In the mean time, just one earthquake in Japan could unleash the worst-case scenario, sending a massive plume of Cesium-137 headed directly at North America. The fate of our world now rests on the unpredictability of Pacific Rim earthquakes! This is a stupidly risky roll of the dice we've all walked into, and if we don't make it, future archeologists will one day discover a fine layer of Cesium-137 dust followed by a global mass extinction event.

Nothing else is important compared to this. We either solve the Fukushima situation -- and then eliminate ALL nuclear power plants on the planet -- or we carve our own graves in the sad, pathetic history of an arrogant civilization "suicided" by corporate-run science.

Pray for our world today. We may have already killed ourselves with stupidity.
