Solar flare - Strong eruption on sunspot 1520 (July 23, 2012) SDO AIA 304 - Video Vax

A large solar flare occurred on the sunspot 1520, which went behind the Sun. It took place July 23, 2012 around 2:30 UT and was powerful enough that we can see a part. In addition, the coronal mass ejection (CME) has escaped into space has an extremely rapid rate, which is quite rare. The speed was about 3400 km / s (7.6 million mph). The CME will not affect the Earth, however, the proton flux has caused a small storm of minor radiation (S1), following the magnetic curves between the Sun and Earth. By cons, the STEREO A spacecraft will be directly hit by the CME in the day on July 24, 2012.

Moreover, the latest images from STEREO A are already very poor quality. The links below show an evolution model of the EMC and the views from the SOHO and STEREO probes A.
These images of this video are from NASA and taken from the satellite instrument AIA SDO (Solar Dynamic Observatory), with a wavelength of 304 Angstroms.

Study: Yucca volcano would be destructive

WASHINGTON -- A volcanic eruption at Yucca Mountain could do more damage than previously thought, possibly forcing radioactive waste from its burial site to the surface, according to a new study.

If long-dormant volcanoes near the prospective high-level nuclear waste dump sprang back to life, molten rock moving at up to 600 mph could fill the repository deep beneath the Nevada desert within hours, said an article in the July issue of Geophysical Research Letters, a publication of the American Geophysical Union.

Intense heat and pressure could cause some canisters of spent nuclear fuel that are to be buried at Yucca Mountain to rupture and allow radioactive material to flow toward the surface, the article said.
"It can potentially affect a large number of waste canisters," wrote a team of English, Dutch and American scientists that developed computer models to assess the risk of a volcanic eruption.

Seven dead volcanoes are within 27 miles but the last eruption was 80,000 years ago. Project scientists calculate that the chance of one occurring within the waste repository over the next 10,000 years is 1 in 70 million.

Previous government studies have said volcanic eruptions would do little damage to the site 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas. But project scientists who commented on a draft of the new study said it presents a potentially useful model for evaluating what could happen if an eruption were to occur.

President Bush last week designated Yucca Mountain as the nation's lone long-term waste repository.

This support exists despite overwhelming evidence that Yucca Mountain is scientifically the wrong site to store, much less geologically isolate, the world's most hazardous waste from the human and natural environment. Yucca Mountain not only will not provide a solution to the ever accumulating nuclear waste problem, but it poses a multi-billion dollar liability for American taxpayers, many of whom do not benefit from nuclear generated electricity. From Wyoming's perspective, the Yucca Mountain Project presents hazards that your leadership may not fully appreciate. I ask that you consider the following:

Because this country's high-level nuclear waste and spent nuclear fuel is currently accumulating at nuclear power plants, mostly east of the Mississippi, the Department of Energy (backed by the politically potent nuclear industry) proposes to use this country's highways and rail corridors to transport the nuclear waste to the proposed repository at Yucca Mountain. To dispose of this undesirable waste, DOE proposes an unprecedented 38 year shipping campaign to move the waste across thousands of miles of highways and rail lines, exposing the population and the environment to unacceptable risks along the way. It is expected that truck shipments to Yucca Mountin would be a daily occurrence through Wyoming. Rail shipments to Yucca Mountain would likewise present daily risks along Wyoming's rail corridors.

To prevent any number of transportation-related calamities presented by the Yucca Mountain Project, Nevadans need your help. Please contact your representatives in Congress and tell them that you do not want thousands of nuclear waste shipments passing within harm's way of your state. Although the State of Nevada has submitted a Notice of Disapproval of the Yucca Mountain Project to Congress, both houses of Congress can override Nevada with a simple majority vote. i have stated this before about the quakes at the north and south poles, but ill state it again, and include info i have to back my research, this is serious stuff....


- the removal of some of this ice from the north/south poles will cause 'galcial rebound', a process wherein, some plates are weighed down by ice sheets. when this ice is removed, they begin to rise again, this in turn can cause earthquakes as the plates rub against each other....

some of the places that will have these 'glacial rebound' quakes would be Scotland, Fennoscandia and northern Denmark, Siberia, Canada, the Great Lakes of Canada and the United States, the coastal region of the US state of Maine, parts of Patagonia, and Antarctica......i also include LA (Cali) in this...

the effects include sea level rise, earths rotational motion, tilt and gravity field...

The North Atlantic oscilation is going to stay in place for an 'extended' period I was told. They aren't coming out with any real answers,but be prepared for extreme events. We already know alot of this but theres alot of info coming out from different camps.They can't hide this forever, even from the sleepy ones!

The way things are starting to unfold I would expect things to speed up by sept.
