Okay, I am lower than ever. How do I lift myself up so I don't just go back to bed and pull the covers over my head? All the advice I have given friends recently who have been down just seem to fail right now. To tell the truth I am now completely terrified at what is coming.

Therapists advise that when we are stuck or paralyzed by fear to clean out a drawer or closet, it gives you a feeling of control over something!

I know when I get off or down or what not, I do like Gabe said, I go outside, I light a smoke(Gabe didn't say that) I'll have a beer or a cup of joe, and wonder at the marvel of it all. And by that I mean looking up and thinking about how small we really are and in the long run none of it really matters except love. Or I will look down and marvel at what's below our feet and how it's constantly moving. I do this a lot. For me it sort of helps put things in perspective. When my bike is running I will hop on and go for a ride too. That really helps. If you don't ride a motorcycle, jump in your car and roll the window down and stick your head out for a few miles.

If you have any Lavender spray or oil, put that around you or on you, it helps in the relaxing Angel..


Ok, we had the eq off the Oregon coast, now if I go to [link to quakes.globalincidentmap.com] and zoom in, it shows it off the coast between Florence and Newport, but was reading our local news site [link to www.kgw.com] They make more mention of it being off Gold Beach down by the California boarder. Yes they say 143 miles west of Gold Beach, but what "cracks" me up is the news had to ask if Gold Beach area felt the earthquake. Now I would assume that if anyone would of felt it, it would of been anywhere between Florence and Newport. It's almost like saying well it was closer to Cali so it won't get the sheeple to look that actually it was half way up the Oregon Coast. I know they go off of certain points USGS that is, but to down play something like this to being closer to Cali, just bugs the crap out of me...

I live in the mountains 2 hours east of Vancouver..
I was working in vancouver when the 7.7 hit....
I spotted it on [link to quakes.globalincidentmap.com]
10 minutes after it happened ...it took me 3 or 4 min of not being able to get any info online or the radio...
so i packed my stuff and headed home, worried about a tsunami...
it wasnt until 45 min after the 7.7 that the news started reporting the tsunami alert....
I havn't gone back to work since....
going on stress leave for a few months....
hope I am ok in the cascade mountains here....
but even here we are getting a constant buzz/vibration....
and I can see ripples in the puddles from vibration...
constant vibration will eventually set of Cascadia.....
I am thinking very soon...
