Just thinking out loud and wondering how post-glacial rebounding might be playing a role in some of the odd quakes we are seeing? Anyone have a clue if this is part of the problem or if PGR isn't a real thing?

I'm not sure if that fault actually does continue on south into the GOM, off of LA's coast now. Too many tabs open, info overload. Can anyone confirm this to be the case?

Feels strange to call it an aftershock from a 4.3 quake.

It was originally posted as a 5.3. That makes more sense for an aftershock. IDK.

So I have heard a few different things thrown around about this Kentucky eq. Is it a foreshock? Should people be worried (especially with the CME coming in the same day as a few geo/heliocentric alignments on monday)?

Might be a completely ignorant question but I'm just now getting into earthquakes and doom in general.

Looks like we've had several KY quakes sincee the first one. Color me anxious...... Also, with regard to the Fighters... I Googled & found I was far from the only one alarmed but that there was a simple, reasonable explaination. There is a Longhorns game tomorrow which also coincides with Veterans Day & they are putting on an Air Show.

Yeah, whiteangel, heard earlier that it was on the way. I've had company all day and haven't had much chance to respond, lol seems every time I was catching up and finding something to post, more company came. But I'm not complaining, just late is all.

Heya Angel...two things
1)- PGR is a real thing, and an important factor that often gets forgotten about when it comes to effects on the earth. I believe, that this is one of the KEYS to whats going on...even in the USA!

2)- you are appreciated and respected for both the info/questions you bring, and for just being you! we all have different views in regard to life/love/the world, typically due to personal life experience...and it is OK to disagree with someone, but its the WAY and CAUSE for the disagreement that defines a person's character...

i also think that the USA is 'buckling'...pressure differences north/south, east/west due to PGR, moving plates, but even more concerning, fracking 'liquifying' the craton...

So if there is a buckling going on, on the coasts, what happens in the middle of the country? Does it rise more? I have been trying to read up on this but always seem to get distracted with something else.
