State Expert: Major explosion possible in area of sinkhole (VIDEO)

Quoting myself here. I went to bed shortly after. I noticed cop cars and possibly a utility truck way down the street from me. Power never went off so I have no idea what really happened, but something really shook the neighborhood. There were no fire trucks, so no explosion.

I really appreciate those who responded to my post last night. I knew the FOG would again be the light I could depend on. Thanks you lovely people.

Why is the earth so quiet right now?

What's up with the swarm of EQ's in Turkey? There are a few little ones in Chile but otherwise just too quiet and quiet means pressure building.

Okay FOG, we've got sun action. The western limb is lighting up, it seems we've got a large hyder flare from 1619 and possible filament liftoff that will be geoeffective. For those that haven't used the SDO show when you pull up the link click on it!

Will be back when I find out more, but we may have a big solar event coming our way.

1611 had an M flare that has set off a series of events it seems, which led to filament liftoff near 1619 as it started magnetically arcing. The area is coming to life,awake and alert. It may take a few hours to find out if the CME is geoeffective, but in my opinion we look to catch a nice chunk of it

We'll need to wait and see whats up as Enlil hasn't put out a forecasted simulation and spaceweather takes forever

Winds from the storm in the NW have reached cat 3 hurricane speeds,wow. Some areas have received over 8" of rain in the last 24 hours

It won't be long before many sites are down, for good I imagine

Hey whiteangel you around, got something I want to bounce off ya, pertaining to our galactic energy source. It would seem SS and energy prominences are firing up closer to home. If thet ejecta misses us when we should have had a magnetic footprint to that area I'm thinking something pulled it that way. That would mean, in my estimation we've got maybe 2 weeks before we're in the line of fire,maybe sooner.1619 actually developed considerably when others, for months have declined. I believe we're close!

I'm still waiting, but theres alot not adding up with this event, if it plays out the way it looks to. The simulation is very weak compared to the massive outburst, and the plasma density would be big because of the filament structure,just doesn't add up! We wait and watch

I know change is inevitable Shad, but some sites are switching to charging for information and some are being blocked. Both suck big time for us all. Let us hope that it is a very temporary situation and soon we can access their site again. It seems a lot of sites are interrupted by solar influences.

Not saying that I want anything to happen. It's just odd that we had all this activity and then it dies down. A little disconcerting.

A little disconcerting to say the least! When these vibrations wash through me and keep building, I continue wondering when the release is gonna hit. And although there was a 5.4 and a few 5.0's +, it really felt like it should have been more of a release. Perhaps there was in some area that doesn't agree to share info.

Is there anyway that those electrons are not coming from above and are coming from within the earth in that area. There have been some pretty substantial quakes there.

Could the earth have opened up?

Just thinking out loud. I am not as schooled in electrons as I probably should be.

ANOTHER FAST-GROWING SUNSPOT: The sunspot number is increasing again. During the past 36 hours, active region AR1618 has more than quadrupled in size. It now has more than a dozen dark cores scattered across an expanse of stellar surface more than 10 times wider than Earth.

The sunspot has also developed a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbors energy for strong solar flares. NOAA forecasters estimate a 30% chance of M-class flares and a 5% chance of X-flares during the next 24 hours. Because of the sunspot's nearly central location on the solar disk, any eruptions will likely be Earth-directed.
