Anytime I see the word caldera in a quake alert it freaks me out!

Here's some info on the Newberry Volcano.

Newberry Volcano (with Newberry Caldera) is a large potentially active[2] shield volcano located 40 miles (64 km) east of the Cascade Range and about 20 miles (32 km) southeast of Bend, Oregon. It is not a typical shield volcano. In addition to erupting basaltic lavas, it also has erupted andesitic and even rhyolitic lava...

Hello Nika....I think they control just how much information is released, just like strength records of earthquakes and such. But I do think something is going on with all movement in volcanic areas. It could just all settle down, and that would be fine with me. I just hope we do not see a "ramping" up so to speak. I have got an uneasy feeling about this...take care up there.hf

here is the text for that :)

The Progression of the Equinox takes 25,920 years.
Now look at this!
The alignment that happens on Dec 3, 2012 is 18 days before Dec 21, 2012.
If you convert 18 days into minutes, you end up with 25,920 minutes!
The exact number of years of the progression of the Equinox

Thanks for this and WOW. Maybe I will cancel my appt. on the 3rd.

Do we know the exact time?

Hey tink I was messing that website and I had to put in the date a couple times...kept moving the planets, BUT each time the earth was facing those planets a different direction. I think it shows earth in a random place spherically. o_o

or...different spots at different times...like 9pm or 10 am...idk >_>

This alignment in conjunction with the alignment with our Sun and our Galactic center. I wonder if this all plays together?

Hi ElQ! Do you do planetary alignments? I am trying to find the major ones for December but with all the hype over Dec 21st and the so called alignment over Giza on the 3rd (doesn't look like that happens like all the famous images show it does).

Guess I am asking if you do, if you have a thread?

on the bottom you can change the date to any date to see the planets for that date
change it to Dec 3rd take a looksie at the planet alignment for that date :)
 Quoting: NiNzrez

Thank you hon hf

Looks like on Dec 3, 2012:

Earth - Mercury - Venus - Saturn (this is the Giza alignment)

Jupiter - Earth - Sun

Uranus - Sun - Venus

Mercury - Sun - Neptune
 Quoting: whiteangel

Don't forget the Moon. The moon plays a key factor here. Alignment as follows

Sun, Earth, Moon, Jupiter.

Hi DFE formely DFS,

Did you click on the Helicentric view, second button on the left? Then turn the solar system so Saturn is in the bottom right hand corner. You will see Saturn, Venus and Mercury all line up to the earth. If you roll in on earth you will see it is the middle east they line up with.

Yes 00:11 is the only time I could get it to line up correctly. Which for us numbers people is pretty interesting in itself.

Much Love,

EDIT TO ADD: 00:11 is GMT time which is 7:11pm Sunday Dec 2nd ET per the time converter site.

then i found this
Planetary alignment that will take place Dec 3, 2012 is dead-on alignment with the Pyramids at Giza. Night Sky in Giza, Egypt on December 3, 2012, local time … one hour before sunrise compared with the Pyramids at Giza.

ahhh i will have to look into the time more

i just ran through all the times and have to agree with the 22:11 UTC time of alignment

Re: F.O.G.
Gabe, would that quasar/black hole...whatever it is, effect us in any way?

 Quoting: Nika

bump for info from the experts
 Quoting: Nika

I'm no expert, but it is highly improbable that a quasar would directly confront us. The gyro effect of the black hole keeps the gas stream pretty tight in a cone like line.
They possess a tremendous amount of concentrated energy made up of X rays, ultraviolet rays, and others I can't quite remember, so if one was to strike us it would be a bad deal. Considering the nearest one is about 600 million light years away and their energy cone can only travel about 1 to 2 million light years we are safe. It takes a massive black hole to produce one.I'd say these pose no threat at this time Nika. Peace
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan
