You're right to believe that. I think we've all had them and just call it that. But really, there is meaning.

Today, for instance..
My friend sent me a text saying he got an off shore job in the gulf of Mexico..and said that he hopes he doesn't die, jokingly ofcourse. I took it as a sign that maybe something will happen soon, I don't know.

Not long after, another friend came into where I work and I told em bout other friend getting off shore job. He say's "wow I hope the seabed doesn't collapse out there or something, cause wasn't the gulf formed from asteroid an impact?" I asked him if he knew about the LA sinkhole, he said no. I took that as a second sign that maybe something will happen soon.

FYI my friend starts his job in 2 weeks .. <_<

It's the time of year when the sailing stones of Racetrack Playa in California's Death Valley are on the move. Probably. No one has actually seen these huge rocks move along the flat, dry lake bed. But, we know they do. Sometime, when no one's looking, usually after freezing weather or heavy wind or rain, the rocks up and scoot themselves leaving unmistakable travel grooves in their wake. Extremely patient scientists studying the wanderliths have concluded that wetter winter weather plays a role in the stone rolling, but they're still not exactly sure how it all works. Kind of cloudy here in GA this morning. It's always dark when I'm on my way to work but this morning the dark seemed heavy, like I could feel the darkness. Even when seeing the sun just startting to rise on the horizon. Didn't like it.
