Thanks NS - yes, Florida east coaster but currently plunked down in So. Cal for the next few weeks for a project. What a time to be away from home! Well, like its good on either coast, right? LOL

I was just looking at that figured you'd already have posted about it ;-) Two things concern me about that area.....the effect the quakes can have on the Islands & the tranference of Energy into the Gulf Coast :-|

I would say the mild elevated proton levels are definitely from a weakened magnetosphere as we have no explanation for these small increases, and the elevated regions follow the sun.The CH isn't going to hit until late tonight or tomorrow.

USGS just posted a shallow 2.2 for Mt Baker, WA & a 2.8 for Oklahoma.

I have read this exact info on the object in March that 'hooked' up with the sun. Nasa says its a magnetic filament, which I believed at the time. This Gentleman says we'll see another one on the 17th and its alien life forms delivering 'chemicals' to settle the sun. Watch it and form your own opinion,I always have that small percentage of WHAT IF going on in my poor head..... considering the very strange behavior of the sun.

That "event" & the "explanation" has always bothered me because of how static the "object" was for those 80 odd hours. Now I'm anxious for tomorrow, in part to see if NASA's camera's experience "technical difficulties" or "are down for scheduled maintenance" that they "forgot" to tell anyone about ;-)

I'm with you brother, the whole event was a collection of I don't knows, and never seen it befores. Then all of a sudden after two straight days with no explanation, they came up with this perfect logical explanation that they knew all along,it was very strange!

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem.....both the USGS site and the globalincident map are giving me delayed date, globalincidents is 3 hour old data and USGS is even older. This is an improvement from earlier in the week when globalincident was giving data from 3 months ago, but USGS was at least current, now that is hours behind.
