F.O.G. FORECASTING CENTER

Since Thanksgiving (the end of November for those not in the States) there has been several viruses floating around. Doctor's office told me that strep, flu-type bugs have been hitting hard, including a stomach bug. My family has all had the bugs with only the stomach thing hitting me.

This could be an important sign of an earthquake about to happen. There have been reports of earthworms, frogs, snakes, etc in exodus before a big quake. When the huge China quake a while back hit, there were frogs all over the place. Anyone else in the area noticing the worms?

Have to be honest here, I've never heard of worms crawling up a wall regardless of the season, unless the ground is too saturated for the worm to withstand, or after the sun has gone down for the night.

I actually have seen worms crawling up the sides of buildings but like you said 66, it was after heavy rains. Here in my part of the country, it has been so dry, can't even imagine any worms around even if it wasn't cool. Sure isn't cold like it should be. Wed will be a cold day with possible snow, of course, since my daughter has foot surgery on Thurs.

jumping back on for a second..yes I have seen worms crawl up walls..just don't think I have ever seen one in December :) The first thing I thought when I saw them was earthquake??? Just so odd to me. Ok, out again. C ya'll

I've noticed gnats flying around outdoors and several other flying insects that are usually not common this time in the season.

Spent 6-7 hours yesterday on about 350 open acres in North Texas. There were so many butterflies out that it was crazy - hundreds. Gnats were swarming. There were bees out and around; one even landed on my hand for a few minutes, and I just observed him.

On the drive home we saw thousands of birds. One lot had over 100 vultures sitting in the trees, no exaggeration. I have never seen so many vultures in one area. Also, there were flocks of birds sitting on the ground or in trees. I can't tell if it's just so unseasonably warm here that they have migrated here for Winter, or not. Very unusual sight, for sure.

Yesterday was in the low 70s. T-shirt and shorts kind of weather. I sat outside for hours, and the sun was HOT. We really didn't have a cloud in the sky.

Off to shop today. Might add we too have been way too warm for this time of year. It will be almost 60 here. Of course come Wed it will be in the low 30's with snow. Now that is normal weather. Not 60's, flies, bees and other bugs out in galore!! Nutty

The MSM seems to have totally forgotten about Fukushima.

Lately my dog doesn't want to go outside. When I go to put him out he tries to get back in. I have a little gate set up to keep him in the yard and he just sits at the gate barking. When he is inside he doesn't want to leave my side. I think it's odd since he only recently started acting this way. He's a boxer/shepard mix. My cats are just your typical cats.

Also wanted to add that i'm driving to NC on Friday the 21st. WOOHOO!!!!!

Been lurking....but had to respond. I am looking this up...and I may be wrong...but I remember reading something about earthworms or snakes coming up from the ground and earthquakes. Maybe an old wives tale...but it stuck with me. Being winter...I'm looking into it.

I believe I saw a program on the science channel or nat geo where scientist in Japan and/or China are using animal behavior to predict quakes and have successfully evacuated prior to a quake based on animal behavior.

Aren't you in New Madrid area? I know Isis has been posting the quakes in WVA and KY has appeared on that list.

August 13, 2012 – JAPAN - In Komatsu city Ishikawa, more than 10,000 earthworms were found dead in a parking lot. Ishikawa prefecture is facing Japan / Korea Sea. Mr. Kobayashi is living near the parking lot. He comments he found earthworms dead in the evening of 8/5/2012. It kept increasing and now it’s scattered around in the 250 m2 of the area. There are about 500 dead worms in the space for one car. Because 16 cars can park there, more than 10,000 worms are dead in the whole area including the passageway. A former director of an insect’s museum visited the place to comment it is rare to see this many worms dead at once. It’s an ordinary type of earthworm. sorry, had not replied being at work and all :)
as for noticing other bugs I would have to say no, although whoever brought the gnats up I do remember seeing a gnat(just one) in the office and I thought "hmm weird" but not as weird as the worm. As for the peeps I work with, they are all men and very hard to read. I did note my boss was awfully perky today. I work at a power plant so there is LOTS of electricity flowing about. We also had storms roll in about 2:30pm. Has been a very dreary day. Started out warm but since the storms has gotten chilly whilly. As for how I feel.... Ears did not have any pressure today so I count that good. My mood is always the same, borderline crazy :)
dogs seem normal and birds I have not seen

edit: as far as the NMZ, I believe this area is about 400 miles East of it.
I go home this weekend until first of the year which is about 150 miles East of NMZ.
I'm going home on the 20th, just in case :)
OH, forgot one other thing. Had a dream last night. Big Flood. I just remember fighting the water and grabbing hold of a cross (it looked like the cross (6ft tall) on the road where my son left this world). The cross was keeping me safe. Just thought I would add my dream.

I'm in Ohio, Highland County, for the first time in days the clouds parted and the sun shone for about 10 minutes. During that time the brightness and heat were blinding and nearly unbearable, and I was indoors. I had the blinds closed, but the sun radiated my home like the blinds weren't even there. Then, the clouds blocked the sky and the lightning and thunderous rain storm hit. It was strange to say the least. I'm glad it didn't take out the power.

The quake underline has been upgraded(revised) to a 5.9 EQ.

Feeling much better tonight,physically a little better,my spirit has rebounded. Did an old school gamma meditation and its got me back on my toes! I'm thinking my physical symptoms are related to this as when I'm strong of heart and mind I'm rarely ill. The shooting and several other events really struck me a blow. Things are shifting at an ever increasing rate and we need a huge event to right things,like I've said many times. Much love FOG, and so glad to have you guys!
