1638 and it was out of nowhere,that spot has the signature to grow. Now if it will of course is something to be seen. Does it decay into nothing just to be reborn once it hits the western side?

Check out this stratospheric vortex Luisport has been following. Massive yen/yang signature, if it splits like they are predicting get ready for massive storms in 7 to 10 days, wow these weather anomalies are becoming mean.

Jeez, thats way over bormal background counts. Great, now when my kids are playing in the snow I know they're playing in 6X the background radiation count. I 'm about 200 miles from dutch and actually know 2 people that are acquainted with him. These are strange and startling times.

My husband and I been sleeping alot...........I've been having vivid dreams.

The stratosphere is around 15km to 60km above the earth directly above the troposphere which gives us our immediate weather. The stratosphere gets cold as winter sets in the north and is what fuels winter weather and jet stream fields. The chart I showed you is the stratospheric field right now. There shouldn't be anywhere near the warm red front that we're seeing. We have a very sudden stratospheric warming trend that will greatly affect the jet stream. This will cause major highs and lows to interact very far south if this pattern splits like they are predicting.
From what I've gathered meteorologists really are baffled by these shifts and aren't sure what the weather patterns are going to do. Some say we're going to have a small very warm spell followed by extreme cold period. That constant heavy storms will continue to develop in the midwest and blanket the east over and over. Then you have a group in England that believe this blanket of massive cold air is going to drop very far south and give us years of very cold weather, like we've been expecting.
On a solar scale if we drop as far as the maunder minimum in our next cycle we very well could be heading into a small ice age, which occurs every several hundred years.There are many that believe all of this is a precursor for a magnetic pole shift which is picking up speed and could happen in the next ten years. Actually theres quite a bit of evidence pointing this direction.

The problem is we have to dig for every scrap of info and try to piece it all together so we may be close to figuring this out or we're being'lead' in the wrong direction completely. I'm thinking something big is going to occur with all we've gathered over the years. I need to get everything together and present it properly. I think I'll start working on that so you guys just aren't getting bits and pieces of my rambling. I've been meaning to do this but haven't had the energy.LOL


note: the main cause of sudden stratospheric warming are planetary waves pushing these massive warm fronts up into the polar regions, we need to watch for the cold and warm front to split, if they do we're in for a heck of a winter

Had only read a little but seems to be enough to have me wondering why I have been researching a coming cold climate? When I was talking to DH about needing more cold climate gear last week, he really thought I had gone over the deep end. When I showed him the crazy Yin/Yang pic, he wanted more info. Told him I would get back to him, but he no longer is giving me that "look".

NACREOUS CLOUDS: Arctic sky watchers should be alert for bright splashes of color this weekend: The nacreous clouds are back.

"The sky was dotted with small but intense nacreous clouds," says Strand. "They lasted for a couple of hours and changed form very often." A close-up photo highlights the vivid colors that are the signature of these clouds.

Atmospheric optics expert Les Cowley comments: "Of all Earth's clouds, nacreous clouds are the most spectacular, and a very rare treat for skywatchers. For up to an hour after sunset or before dawn they glow like eerie electric discharges or gas jets in the darkening sky, their filmy shapes slowly curling and uncurling with intense shifting colors. They are composed of tiny ice crystals more than twice as high as ordinary clouds, 9-16 miles up, in the stratosphere and form at temperatures of minus 85 Celsius and below. The crystals are all of similar size and they diffract the high altitude sunlight to make the colours."

"Search for nacreous clouds at high latitudes (e.g., Scotland, Scandinavia, Iceland, Northern US) in winter and preferably downwind of mountains," Cowley advises. "They like stormy weather that perhaps creates gravity waves to loft the necessary moisture to make them upwards across the tropopause into the stratosphere. Once seen they are never forgotten!"
