Decent sized CME from the east region of the sun. I don't think this will be geoeffective, but we'll see.

Thats something I hadn't seen before, very cool info, exploitation of natural resources bad, considering we've got the ability to run the the world on geomagnetic energy sources or solar particle turbines. That would save trillions of dollars and millions of lives, so thats no good for 'them.' My tolerance for stupidity is getting thin, I hope I don't dissapear soon! LOL

Much Love Sis! Great info as always

Is this tesla technology?
Barbara
 Quoting: imjustsayin

Some of it is for sure. Tesla was pushed out of the picture by Bell and all his main energy tech was and still is pushed under the table. It really is a joke to think we have to use oil for energy, there have been hundreds of patents for alternate energy sources all bought out, or lost and never to be heard from again. I could go on forever about this as its a passion of mine. One day it will HAVE to change or we'll be no more!

Sorry for the rant IJS.hf
 Quoting: shadasonic

I completely understand. I remember reading that tesla said he could light up the world without wires. Makes me wonder if he was so ahead of the times that he understood solar particle energy...they can't keep things secret forever.

Did you see president Obama is pushing space projects? They want to grab an asteroid and place it in a high orbit around the moon. And also to set up an outpost where they can land on a larger one. What an incredible time we live in!!!

Not advocating this just thought it was interesting. You shouldn't mess with your pineal unless you're very well grounded, it can be unsettling if you aren't ready!

Southcentral Authorities Silent on Cause of Booming Noise

By Chris Klint
Channel 2 News
12:44 p.m. AKST, January 4, 2013
ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Southcentral Alaska authorities didn’t have any immediate cause for a loud booming noise heard Thursday night and reported by Channel 2 viewers, but seemed to rule out sonic booms from aircraft in responses Friday.
Reports of the sounds were posted on Channel 2’s Facebook page Thursday evening by people ranging from Eagle River to the Mat-Su Valley. Some reports placed the phenomenon between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday, with Channel 2's Late Edition airing a brief update on the reports. Viewers' descriptions of the sound varied, but those who heard it generally agreed that it was a strong and persistent noise.
[link to www.ktuu.com]
I felt and heard this 'phenomenon' as they are calling it. Thursday night the ducks in the lake were squawking and quacking so loud they started around 7:30 I went to see if they were OK thinking maybe someone's dog was trying to get them or an eagle they were alright just excited. Came back in the house 'it' started at 8:03 I know this because I wrote the time down the noise was so loud and weird and I heard this high pitch tone right before.
This 'whatever' was bizarre it sounded like something huge was coming through the woods and knocking the trees down, it came from far away and then moved closer, it sounded like large amounts of dirt were being emptied into a hole (the sound you hear when a bucket loader drops a load of material into a hole) I was sure we had a series of earthquakes and kept checking sites, the hanging lamp in my room swayed, the dogs whined once then laid very still beside me. There were vibrations like you hear and feel when the volume is too loud on the surround sound and rumbling that sounded metallic. I went into the living room thinking my son had come in and turned the TV up really loud but no one else was home... then it quit. I had this strange sensation/feeling I felt this 'presence' from outside it's hard to describe I wasn't scared just this feeling something changed and it was big . Then I gave myself a pep-talk that someone would definitely think I was nuts if I said that, told myself there had to be a logical explanation. Thought it might have been the wind I checked all the sites there was nothing noted. Called several friends and they all heard 'something' loud but each one described it differently, one said he thought it was a huge wind surge, another thought the snow load had fallen off his house and shop but it hadn't, another thought it was a bunch of military airplanes. Didn't think anymore about it until I just read this story from the local TV Channel I have no idea what it was but writing this has me really thinking about it again now I'm wondering if it was atmospheric?

I think the quake was far away from where Ako is located at, But the quake was big enough for it to be felt where she is at. I hope she's okay too.. hf

Also we should expect a(one or two) quake(s) here in the U.S. in the following state(s) CO,TX,KS,OK,MO,AR,KY,TN,MS,AL,VA. Not a big quake just a decent size EQ. Not Fear Mongering just following a pattern.

Stay safe F.O.G and Everyone. hf

I don't live in Hoonah we built the website for mistybaylodge.com I travel all over Alaska for the publishing company I work for. I am 700 miles from the quake in South Central Alaska on the Denali Fault line side. Whatever that phenomenon Thursday night was I think it was a pre-cursor or warning to that quake I think something shifted? It was so weird it's hard to describe. hf

Re: F.O.G.
I went to sleep about 2:30am MST and missed it all; 7.8 EQ and M1.7 flare. Now I understand why my ears went nuts yesterday evening, it was the weirdest sound they have ever made. I kept checking EQ's and yes there were several moderates around the same time frame, just weird.

I am so glad to hear that AKO is safe. I knew the area she is at, as I have another person I am in contact with daily that is up her way and figured she was okay also. Her experience BEFORE anything happened proves we all need to pay attention to Mother Nature!!

Venus/Earth/Ceres are in alignment. Anyone know why this combo seems to produce more EQ's and solar activity? Anyone know where I can go to search this weirdness?

Re: F.O.G.
Hi, Nin and everyone. Here is some info on the "earthquake lights" often seen before a big quake.

An earthquake light is an unusual luminous aerial phenomenon that reportedly appears in the sky at or near areas of tectonic stress, seismic activity, or volcanic eruptions. Once commonly challenged, it was not until photographs were taken during the Matsushiro earthquake swarm in Nagano, Japan (which occurred from 1965 through 1967) that the seismology community acknowledged their occurrence...

One explanation involves intense electric fields created piezoelectrically by tectonic movements of rocks containing quartz.[8]

Another possible explanation is local disruption of the Earth's magnetic field and/or ionosphere in the region of tectonic stress...

There was one in the gulf of mexico going off not more than 10 minutes after the Alaskan quake, very strange
 Quoting: shadasonic

Is it possible that is a seperate event ? When I overlayed the helicorders from AK and AL it showed 17 minutes for the shock wave to get here. If the bouy was only 10 minutes behind the AK quake, there could have been something that happened in the gulf and it was skipped over. Again.
