Guys, there's something weird going on in Arkansas. On the Bayou Corne page at the top they have added 2 temp helicorders in Arkansas.
Look at the graph!!

[link to folkworm.ceri.memphis.edu]

Not sure where it is located, but it has NM in the title and that would be New Madrid I believe.

Nice find, now just have to find out what it means. Thanks EC!hf

Just a quick look Shada, and my impression is that this picked up the near shore quake:
Type: Earthquake

Region: near the coast of Ecuador
Depth: 41.3 km

and indicates the motion disruption for this particular area.

Something to keep watch on for sure.

This is a little off topic. I've seen dozens of convoys of military equipment, troop carriers, and covered trailers over the last three days heading south on Hwy 44 in mid missouri. I've also seen continuous flybys of military helicopters(blackhawks ) over the last three days. Probably nothing, but its definitely noticeable as people are talking about it. Way more activity than I've noticed ever before.I've seen military convoys many times as I travel alot with my job, this really stuck out as its been consistent over the last three days

Since 6 is the number of love, I am proclaiming this "family" day and a day of much love.

So, folks 2013 (which is also a 6) is a new beginning in abundance of love for the FOG family.

We got a good dusting, then the sun pops out and it's all gone. It was good to see though.

Vesper, have you been hearing the loud sky booms over the last couple of days ?

They were really loud out in Harvest on Monday afternoon. No arsenal activity, too much rain for construction and not thunder. Now that I have finally heard the booms people are talking about, it's pretty creepy !

EDIT TO ADD... This showed up on local helicorder south of here. I was going to link it, but the data has apparently been scrubbed for that time frame.

Hi, I just got back on tonight and saw your post.

Yes, I have heard the booms the last couple of nights, but could not make the sound out or where it was coming from. It sounded off in the distance, but loud enough to make me notice from inside the house. I believe what I heard today while outside was the thunder snow sound, which was crazy loud and made me jump.

I live off Winchester Road in New Market. I am really closer to the Huntsville area. I lived in Hazel Green for several years and am familiar with Harvest and Tony also. Nice to know there are friendly GLP'ers in this area. Lol.

Please keep me posted if you hear anything else. I will call some friends of mine up closer to your location and see if they heard anything.

Creepy for sure!!! I have dreaded the day the booms came close enough for me to hear. I hope it turns out to be something else.

All Blessings to you and yours!!!!

Tiny Solar Activity Changes Affect Earth's Climate

Even small changes in solar activity can impact Earth's climate in significant and surprisingly complex ways, researchers say.

I was doing a little research on the Nevada area and came across this:

Do you think maybe they did a big OOOPS..with this one

In 1916, a rancher drilled a well in hopes of turning the desert into a fertile wetland, but accidentally hit a geothermal pocket of water. It wasn't until 1964 that boiling water started to escape to the surface and that is how this geothermal wonder came to be. It’s located on private property, the Fly Ranch.
