Funny....was sitting up last night reading about the Russian thing and something hit the side of our house! I flew out of bed.....scattering a couple of dogs in the process. Guessing a bird or a confused armadillo...but went out and could find nothing.

Noticed the meteor scan wasn't working well last night...I kept checking. I have the quake sites up too!!

Thank all yall so much for the extra tidbits of info. Hope everyone has a safe day!! :)

Home sick again today just heard the weirdest noise popping and cracking outside sounded like someone crunching through the snow climbing up the porch to the back door my dogs started barking and growling? There is nobody here but me and the dogs I have no idea but it was 1:05 (afternoon here)
Can't hear any noises coming from the ducks. IDK what that was.

Fireball Streaks Across Bay Area Sky
';'
On a day that had a lot of people talking about meteorites and asteroids, a fireball of some sort was seen streaking across the Bay Area skies.

The fireball was seen just after 8 p.m.

There are reports into the newsroom from people as far north as Fairfield and as far south as Gilroy. It was also seen in Sacramento.

It was bluish in color and appeared to be heading straight to the ground, according to one viewer in Santa Clara.

That asteroid could have buddies following it for up to 2 days, not to mention I believe we'll continue to see an uptick in sightings.
