Thank you, Shadasonic for your keen insight on things both scientific and those on more of a heart level. I am positive that you reach many people on many levels whether we realize it yet, or not. The science part tales a little longer for this 'ol lady but I am still paying attention and learning every day! I do appreciate your meditation videos! Many blessings to all of us!

About ten minutes ago (would have posted sooner if the site wasn't down again, lol) massive ringing in my left ear, louder than I have ever heard!! Lasted about 15-20 seconds which has also never happened.

Now there is a background hum from time to time in right ear. Anyone else? It was so different it was a big spooky

The big time ring in the left ear was also a hiss not a ring. Strangest thing.

Been a very weird day all the way around.

1st Photo of Alien Planet Forming Snapped by Telescope

Astronomers have captured what may be the first-ever direct photograph of an alien planet in the process of forming around a nearby star.

The picture, which captured a giant alien planet as it is coming together, was snapped by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile. It shows a faint blob embedded in a thick disk of gas and dust around the young star HD 100546. The object appears to be a baby gas giant planet, similar to Jupiter, forming from the disk's material, scientists say.

Have they lost their damn minds? This is an eye-opener

Artificial Sweeteners in Milk

Got diet milk? In a highly controversial move, the dairy industry wants to market artificially sweetened milk—without any special label to alert consumers.

In a petition filed with the FDA, the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) seek to change the definition of “milk” so that chemical sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose can be used as optional ingredients not listed on the product label.

If the petition—originally filed in 2009 and now under consideration by the FDA—is successful, these hidden additives could also be included in 17 other dairy products—including whipping cream, low-fat and non-fat yogurt, eggnog, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, and half-and-half—without requiring any special labeling

I wish I had more room and the set up for a heifer, but I'd have to buy too much hay.

I read about them wanting to add to milk, but sour cream? That makes even less sense. None of these products need sweetner of ANY kind.

Yeah, and no label? Scary times. Hay is so expensive if you don't put up your own, straw is $30 a bale here! Chicken feed doubled in price, dog and cat food is outrageous too.

I haven't had chickens for a few years. I was going to get them last summer, after I got back from Ohio, but I couldn't get the kind I wanted. I'm sure I'll have sticker shock when I go buy my first bag of feed. If we have another summer of drought, we will seriously need a 2nd mortgage to buy hay and straw. If you could find it last year, you almost couldn't afford it. A lot of people sold off their stock. Horses and cattle.
