Florida surfers who ride waves at Mayport Poles might find this news a little unsettling, but scientists sure were delighted to have tagged and released a large great white shark Sunday afternoon immediately beyond the popular surf spot, in only 25 feet of water.

Here's some more for you WA just spotted a few hours ago

Thousands of sharks spotted off Florida coast
Several beaches in South Florida are closed off to swimmers because thousands of sharks have been spotted swimming alongside the shoreline. WPTV reports that an estimated 15,000 sharks are migrating north using the currents of the Atlantic as part of their annual voyage home after heading south for the winter.

The station says most of the sharks it has spotted so far appear to be spinner sharks, which are known for leaping out of the water and spinning in the air as they hunt their prey.

And while swimmers are being kept out of the water during this especially crowded shark passing, one expert says we are actually much closer to the elusive predators than we might like to think.

Florida Atlantic University shark researcher Steve Kajiura told TC Palm that during the months of January and February, a shark is only an average of 60 feet away from swimmers. VIDEO

Yikes, that second story is happening right along the coast where we are - north of Palm Beach County! Thousands of sharks, and really when you're in the water you can't seem them, that aerial view is amazing! Thanks for the updates! Glad WA isn't swimming here for her birthday!

Woman finds $7,000, turns it right in

Are people becoming more honest? It certainly seems so. A few weeks ago, a couple near the Golden Gate Bridge turned in a bag with more than $11,000 inside. Last week, an anonymous man returned a wallet with $800 cash. And today, we learn about an airport worker in Atlanta who found (and returned) an envelope stuffed with $7,000 VIDEO

Yes, go to the thread and look at the links on the 25th. Man, that was freaky that day, especially as it was right on schedule - withOUT a cause from the sun! I checked Ninz and nothing. That is just too weird. Then it starts up again and even "times out" in data, that is just wild to me. No it isn't scaring me but the word freaky is so fitting.

I haven't paid enough attention to that thread. This is way off without substantial energy. This really makes no sense. Polarity is askew, something else besides the sun causing this unless we're connected to the backside somehow. This needs to be watched very close, could produce some much needed answers. Excellent work angel and bending light.

On the 25th, I searched everywhere trying to find SOMETHING that would be coming from our sun. Nothing. If you look on Ninz thread, they all chimed in that it wasn't caused by a CME or solar wind or NOTHING. Had already been following that thread by BL waiting to see what would happen, especially after the 3 years in a row and then wondering what would happen this year the 4th year, if anything.

So far, right on schedule.
