Many 3+ quakes tonight in the Canary Islands. This is not the normal eq pattern I've seen over the past two events there.

Yes it is, Shad. I followed Idgit's threads on El Hierro the last two times there was shaking going on there and I remember that it was rare to get a 3+ during both those events. It seems to be almost constantly shaking.

Thread
"An event unprecedented in human history is today" - Methane gas at record highs
Abrupt climate change just around the corner peeps. Looks like the whole Arctic ice sheet is on the move and breaking up early:

March 22, 2013 video of Arctic ice breaking, cracks and on the move: [link to www.youtube.com]

Paul Beckwith, climatologist studying abrupt climate change: "For the record; I do not think that any sea ice will survive this summer. An event unprecedented in human history is today, this very moment, transpiring in the Arctic Ocean. The cracks in the sea ice that I reported on my Sierra Club Canada blog and elsewhere over the last several days have spread and at this moment the entire sea ice sheet (or about 99% of it) covering the Arctic Ocean is on the move. Clockwise. The ice is thin, and slushy, and breaking apart."

Beckwith goes on to say, "This is abrupt climate change in real-time. Humans have benefited greatly from a stable climate for the last 11,000 years or roughly 400 generations. Not any more. We now face an angry climate. One that we have poked in the eye with our fossil fuel stick and awakened. And now we must deal with the consequences. We must set aside our differences and prepare for what we can no longer avoid. And that is massive disruption to our civilizations."

(from Part-time professor and climatologist Paul Beckwith)

Record Methane in Arctic early March 2013:
"Methane levels for this period are at record highs in the Barents and Norwegian Seas, i.e. the highest levels ever recorded by IASI, which is is short for Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer, a Fourier transform spectrometer on board the European EUMETSAT Metop satellite that has supplied data since 2007."
[link to arctic-news.blogspot.co.uk]

"This has the potential to release vast quantities of methane trapped by ice below the surface - billions of tonnes of methane. World-wide, peat bogs store at least two trillion tons of CO2. This is equivalent to a century of emissions from fossil fuels."
[link to www.examiner.com]

This my friend, is the REAL REASON DHS ordered all those bullets. We are living on our own self-induced asteroid. Don't need to worry about what's incoming but rather what we are currently standing on.

Re: "An event unprecedented in human history is today" - Methane gas at record highs
It boggles the mind that the current methane crisis (because that's what it is) gets so little attention by ANYONE. It's not a joke. People don't seem to realize that a lot of shit going on in the oceans right now (mass die offs and bizarre animal behavior) are tied directly to the methane releases that are going on with increasing frequency. Not to mention the alarming rate in which the ice sheets are disintegrating and releasing methane into the atmosphere. And this is not something that is going to slow - we've reached a tipping point and it is just going to get worse until there's no one left to give a shit...

I have these as open tabs

1. [link to cnt.rm.ingv.it]

2. [link to cnt.rm.ingv.it]

3. [link to cnt.rm.ingv.it]

The 1st one is where all the "big"(from 5 mag and up) or significate Quakes get post.

The 2nd link is where they calculated if there is going to be a destructive tsunami, its an EArthquake Rapid Location sYstem with EStimation of Tsunamigenesis.
Here is a link to see how the EArthquake Rapid Location sYstem with EStimation of Tsunamigenesis calculated the Japan Tsunami
[link to alomax.free.fr]

This is a small video of how the EArthquake Rapid Location sYstem with EStimation of Tsunamigenesis graph looked when the quake hit and the calculation of the Tsunami.
[link to s3.rm.ingv.it]

The 3rd link is where all the movements/EQ's are posted small and big some don't make it to the main EQ sites some do ,now you have to click Channel(station) it usually has letters like this :AU_MTN( this is a station for Australia Manton Dam, Northern Territor) [link to www.iris.edu] to those letters there is another set of letters that are always the same like this: HF(BRB)
if you click on HF or BRB it will take you to the seismograph for those stations [link to alomax.free.fr] and there you can see if it was a big quake or not. And like i said if you keep seeing the same station or another station around that area showing movements/EQ's around the same area over and over, then it means that there might be a chance for a big EQ there.
I hope this makes sense,i'm a bit tired. And please excuse all my typo's.

The beta version of global incident site breaks down quakes by mag....noticed last evening they started moving from high 2s to 3s. They are becoming frequent and seem to be slowly climbing....3s seemed pretty regular late in the day and they are koving to high 3s tonight.

AK, this is pretty mind boggling. Got this from wiki on methane release

As with the current increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, a large methane release will undoubtedly contribute to an increase in acid rain, and, through its impact on global warming, a further rise of sea level, increased desertification, increased heavy precipitation, and extreme weather events. The slowing of ocean circulation or its actual stagnation because of greater planetary warmth are also possibilities. Such a slowing would paradoxically produce a decreased transport of warm water to the coasts of northeastern North America and northernmost Europe, making for much colder winters. In addition, the destabilization of methane within seafloor sediments can send 20 meter (60 foot) high tsunamis crashing into nearby coastlines.

A methane catastrophe can have other major consequences in addition to sudden global warming. It can accelerate the slow but deadly acidification of the surface ocean (down to about 100 meters, or about 300 feet), which is now occurring as a result of the increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and ocean. The methane can combine with dissolved oceanic oxygen, depleting the deeper part of the ocean (that is, the ocean below about 100 meters) of oxygen, and killing off the oxygen-using (aerobic) organisms at those depths. As acidification penetrates the deep ocean, even organisms that do not use oxygen (anaerobes) will be affected.

Then there are the worst case scenarios. With the warming of the world ocean, its chemical balance and biological composition will change. The ocean will become stratified, with mixing between its surface and the deep ocean becoming increasingly restricted. If the deep ocean becomes fully anoxic (devoid of oxygen), it will also become toxic, as the remaining anaerobic organisms pump out the deadly gas hydrogen sulfide. In sufficient quantities, that gas could escape oceanic confinement to poison the atmosphere and, combining with the iron in the blood's hemoglobin, kill terrestrial organisms, including us.

But the composition of the atmosphere could also change in a second way, because the amount of free oxygen depends on two things: the actual production of oxygen (by the ocean's photosynthetic plankton and terrestrial green plants) and the delivery of large amounts of carbon (as part of a "rain" of organic debris from organisms closer to the surface) to the ocean's bottom. This carbon, if not removed from the global carbon cycle by sinking and eventual burial in the ocean floor, will combine with oxygen and lower its concentration in the atmosphere.

Once oceanic anoxia kills off aerobic marine organisms (those which require oxygen to live), the natural regulatory system for carbon will be sent into a tailspin. The amount of organic debris produced in surface waters will likely be reduced, the amount that rapidly descends to the ocean floor will be reduced, and the proportion that gets decomposed on the way to the bottom will be significantly reduced. Exactly how this will play out is unclear, because certain of these changes will operate to slow the removal of carbon from the global carbon cycle (which will act to decrease the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere

I'm no quake expert. I don't know much at all really. But in the last 2 hours there have been moderate quakes on a number of islands:

South Sandwich 5.1 10km deep
Canary Islands 4.0 14km deep
Offshore Chiapas Mexico 4.1 78km deep
Dominican Republic 4.0 99km deep
Andreanof Islands, Aleutian Is. 4.2 47km deep
Island of Hawaii, Hawaii 2.3 3km deep
Samoa Islands Region. 5.4 0(?)km deep
Fiji Region 5.2 540km deep

Is it normal for this amount of activity to be going on with this many islands simultaneously or is there something ugly building?

grouphug to all my fog family... I hope everyone is well and safe and balanced...

I am not balanced at the moment..

I have a strange thing happening and here is the only place i would dare to share it lol..

So background.. past 18mths been struggling with sinus issues.. have narrowed down the cause and currently as i cant move, am trying to lessen the causations.. anyway, past two months, sinus irritation, turned into sinus infection, and despite my regime of lemons, manuka honey drops, acv, tumeric, parsely, vegie juices and every natural thing i could find, it still persisted.. (there is an emotional component which Im aware of and working on that side too)..

Ok so sinus infection turns into middle ear infection two and half weeks ago.. antibiotics start to kick in, but then I get a urinary infection because I forgot to take my yoghurt and probiotics .. on those now.. so anyway doc changes the antibiotic to one that will combat both infections... 5 days ago i was admited to hospital with vestibular neuronitis, basically severe vertigo, nausea, ringing in the ears, because the infection moved into the nerves...

Soooooooooo .. while im dealing with all that I notice Im hearing things differently, obviously, but not just differently, Im hearing things beneath the sounds.. extra electrical sounds etc..

So last night we had a massive storm front move through about 8pm... now here is the part where im hoping you wont think im mental LOL... I heard the storms electrical signature.. but I swear it was not natural.. I could hear every time i went outside, the underlying hum and crackle of extra energy.. and it was methodical, rhythmic and as far as I believe not the natural sound of a storm.. I swear I am not making this stuff up.. it was very mechanical sounding..

Obviously the inner ear issues is allowing this to happen, and Im doing my best to breath into it and allow.. but I wondered if anyone else here has experienced anything like this before or if anyone has a remedy I havent tried..

much love and thanks in advance for any suggestions or shared experiences.. love you all..

Hi EW,

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I too had vertigo, only have occasional spells now. Mine is from a concussion due to a car accident last May. So, I understand how you feel. I also understand the hearing things, I hear things and I can see things that I had not before and/or much clearer. I use to hear the mountain moving, I know sounds crazy, but that is what it sounded like to me. It sounded like metal moving and grinding.

Leaning into it is the best idea and I close my eyes and count backwards from 100 by 3's, this makes your brain re-calibrate your balance because it is working on something else besides balancing you.

I have a suggestion for the emotional component that really helped me. I tried it just because I would try anything to feel better and she is amazing!! I have cleared so much more than just vertigo. I would do it for you, however, I am not as versed as she is yet and you need immediate relief. Mama could chime in on this modality too.

Here is her thread:

Thread: Try The Emotion Code here - release trapped emotions so the body can heal itself.

Just post your age and copy what you put here, you don't need to give your real name if you do not want to. Let her know I sent you over to her. She is very kind and really good energy. I can feel when she is working on me. I have had her work on 2 of my kids and the results have been amazing and in only 1 session. Kinda my way of testing the waters because the kids only knew they were getting worked on but not for what exactly.

Please let us know how you are doing. I know it is a very frustrating and scary thing to go through.

hugs

big hugs for you TT.. thankyou so much for you post.. im heading over to that thread now and will post..

That makes me feel so much better knowing someone else has experienced the sensation of hearing extra things.. was hoping i was getting a super power LOL...

Its been very rough though, i dont usually get so sick, and if i do get sick im over it in a day or two.. this has got me by the short and curlies and isnt letting go.. so im sure there is blockage there emotionally, am sure the lady will help greatly, thanks again for the referral.. I will post any outcome/update improvement..

Your very welcome.

Excited to hear how it goes, may take more than one session.

I retained my hearing and seeing things, just dropped the vertigo part. You do have Super Powers!! lol

Much Love,

EDIT TO ADD: I bought salt lamps because I am so sensitive to EMF's now, that being on the computer was torture. I got them on amazon and I have a big one next to my computer monitor. Helped immensely. Also, if you have wifi, unplug your modem at night. If you have a tv in your bedroom unplug it at night.

Re: F.O.G.
I have a house full of salt lamps.. we used to have a little shop where we sold all kinds of good healthy spiritual things like that.. so I have one in every room and 6 in the combined lounge/dinning/kitchen..

I have noticed that I have definately got to turn off things at night since this started.. i used to fall asleep to the tube all the time, even with the lap top on some times.. absolutely can not at the moment and am finding i am even needing to have the tv on mute when its on and im waiting for something i want to watch.. never used to put the sleep screen on the puter either, but now im turning it off all together..

I had a salt bath the other night but it didnt shift as much as i thought it would, might do another one this week.. they usually fix me right up, but obviously this is a little more than Ive had to shift in the past..

thanks so much hun for the advice and sharing.. much appreciated..

Last year I did a lot of research posted it here and on ELQ's thread
Here's a thread today from Climate Change Watcher and I think that quake in Russia last week at Lake Baikal posted info here was methane related. I updated the links

Exactly how this will play out is unclear, because certain of these changes will operate to slow the removal of carbon from the global carbon cycle (which will act to decrease the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere

hi Morning All!
It is STILL snowing here!
Thought this was interesting since we are talking about it even though it's rather vague (who'da `thunk! lol)
PROMISES, PROMISES: Climate Change
PROMISES, PROMISES: Hopes on climate change action may fall short again in Obama's new term
The issue:
Slowing the buildup of greenhouse gases responsible for warming the planet is one of the biggest challenges the United States and President Barack Obama face. The effects of rising global temperatures are widespread and costly: more severe storms, rising seas, species extinctions, and changes in weather patterns that will alter food production and the spread of disease.

Re: F.O.G.
grouphug to all my fog family...

Get well EW!
Don't think your mental at all lol. I have your sound problems too mine was an already present hearing problem from milking cows with no ear protection decades ago that intensified after Lyme's disease I too hear the mechanics so to speak I have also noticed since last fall that things outside sound differently, louder, clearer, crisper like planes, trains, sirens, animal noises.
Have always been able to predict the weather by sound train makes going through this area (sounds different when rain or snow is coming) drives my kids crazy I say it's gonna rain/ snow and within hours it does but now I can actually hear train right down to cars clicking going over track connections. Have spoke about it on here before even the wind sounds different? It's a blessing perhaps to help us like a warning I think.
TT's advice is very good and I won a white noise machine from Dr.Oz [link to www.amazon.com] This works great I use it in office daily too and now there is a free white noise lite app [link to www.drozfans.com] haven't tried Passion flower powder yet.
Prayers it get's better for you. I hum to block it out too seems to help me can be difficult to stay focused on tasks at times.

Re: F.O.G.
Russian scientists predict the beginning of Ice Age in 2014
Russian scientists refute thesis on global warming and predict the onset of the next few years of global cooling. Head of Laboratory "VNIIGAZ" Vladimir Bashkin and Rauf Galiulin Institute of Basic Biological Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences in the pages of the scientific journal "Natural Gas Industry" reject anthropogenic influence on global climate, reducing everything to a multi-year cycle of solar activity.
Last warming period, when the average temperature has risen by 0.7 degrees Celsius, says since the beginning of the industrial revolution — the second half of XVIII century. It is assumed that the global warming observed over the last 50 years, mainly due to human influence, first of all, with the carbon dioxide emissions that cause the greenhouse effect.

However, note the authors, from the point of view of "the cyclical nature of climate change," the warming — the natural way out of the "Little Ice Age" and then enter a new period of cooling.

The authors believe that the effect of greenhouse gas emissions too high, since the mass of the Earth's atmosphere at 18,375,000 billion tonnes and emissions of about 9 billion tons of greenhouse gas concentration of only 0.00005%. At this concentration is hardly possible any global changes, including climate change, and consider V.Bashkin R.Galiulin.

V.Bashkin and R.Galiulin predict that is emerging process of global cooling, which is indirectly confirmed by the nature of the curve of temperature anomaly, overlooking the plateau after 2000. "Little Ice Age" will begin in 2014. and to peak minimum temperatures by mid-century.
