Having a lot of trouble with GLP again today. I wish they would get the server problems fixed.

Very interesting read...

Here’s what they don’t want you to know. Oxy 1 is being bled off twice a day due to over-pressures. Over last couple of days they are preparing to or already have installed a Blow Out Preventer, (BOP), courtesy of Halliburton, of course. Now you might ask why in hell would they need a BOP on a brine well? Damn good question.
Also, there is a wireline that is being run between Oxy 1 and Oxy 3A, presumably a seismic net to seek out a fracture caused as a result of their Barge/Air Gun experiment, which is why Pad 3 caved on both sides, and the access ramp fell in...

On March 15, 2013, Arctic sea ice extent appears to have reached its annual maximum extent, marking the beginning of the sea ice melt season. This year’s maximum extent was the sixth lowest in the satellite record. NSIDC will release a detailed analysis of the 2012 to 2013 winter sea ice conditions in early April.

Sungrazing comets have the potential for world wide power disruption(EMP). It will be interesting to see what comet Ison brings this summer. It has to travel through the asteroid belt to get here, meaning it could pull objects along, knock them our direction etc... Its supposed to be brighter than the moon , possibly, and its track is awfull close to some planets. If it gets close enough it could cause massive electromagnetic problems.
