5/17/2013 — 4.4M earthquake — Ottawa, Canada — Craton movement continues
The northeast edge of the craton is moving.

If you have been following the movement at the fracking operations , and dormant volcanoes , then you were expecting this activity in the Northeast .

Locals say not explosives. Methane? EQ pre-cursor?
 Quoting: AKObserver

From another report it was explosives

Sernapesca, Chile’s National Fishing Service, investigated the scene and determined that all the animals were killed by the same incident. Autopsies report animales with fractured skulls, missing rib cages and multiple abrasions.

Yep what a mess! Trumpeter Swans made a nest now them and all the ducks, Canadian Geese and some seagulls are all piled in together they are all squawking right now on the lake and the snow is coming down and sticking. I'm sure they're as confused as we are. New weather report says it will all be gone and in the mid-50's by Monday. We'll see...lol.

I am melting for sure. Just 3 weeks ago we got a foot of snow, the high didn't even hit 20 and now 90. I think we had a very long Fall, then in March we hit winter, then the second week in May we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer!!! Crazy messed up weather. No time to adjust to temps when it is doing that!!!

Re: F.O.G.
Dark, massive asteroid to fly by Earth on May 31
May 18, 2013 – SPACE – It’s 1.7 miles long. Its surface is covered in a sticky black substance similar to the gunk at the bottom of a barbecue. If it impacted Earth it would probably result in global extinction. Good thing it is just making a flyby. Asteroid 1998 QE2 will make its closest pass to Earth on May 31 at 1:59 p.m. PDT. Scientists are not sure where this unusually large space rock, which was discovered 15 years ago, originated from. But the mysterious sooty substance on its surface could indicate it may be the result of a comet that flew too close to the sun, said Amy Mainzer, who tracks near-Earth objects at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Cañada Flintridge. It might also have leaked out of the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, she said. We will know more after the asteroid zips closer to Earth and scientists using the Deep Space Network antenna in Goldstone, Calif., and the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico can get a better look at it.
