The 6.7 we had lasted for about 3 minutes near the epicenter. Luckily, I slept through this one that was about a 6 in my neighborhood.

Gabe- Did you see the CNN news, they mentioned about a solar flare on 16th April which is not earth directed. Are they preparing the masses???

The eruption was very large and visible, even to the naked eye they said. I think they try to keep the thought in peoples minds, but sheep can only remember soap opera like events(slutty SS agents,actresses and their affairs,and our fake presidential election that we have no control of).

I can't speak for Agapao, but living day to day does NOT mean being unconscious of everything. Every day brings its challenges and I deal with them and move on.

I just refuse to live every day thinking of all the horrible things that can happen. Yes, I am prepared, but it's become somewhat of an auto pilot thing to always have what I will need in case of an "emergency".

But damn, I could get hit by any of the crazy logging trucks that go by here a million miles an hour when I go buy cigarettes!

I have been through some crazy shit in my life and have survived it. I am a surviver. But I guess I am not as attached to this earth as most. Can;t really explain it but have met a lot of people that feel the same way...

And you know what is nice about agreeing to disagree? We realize we are not robots. We all don't think the same. We all have different life experiences that shape us.

If not - it would be VERY boring!!!

Thanks for the heads up Canada. NSW/Port McQuarrie is east coast Australia, and no it doesnt sound good. Sounds as though it may be a place where radioactive material has been dumped in the past. There are quite a few of these sites in Australia and as the population grows areas that were once miles from anywhere are becoming someones back yard. Lets hope the gov. steps up and cleans up the problem.

Maybe its the dad (and granddad) coming out of me in the tone of some of my posts.... harsh tone to get my kids to listen to me..

Some people ask me questions that i have to answer in "round about ways" for (i hope) apparent reasons..... again a lot of pressure.

I do not know for sure what, when, how things will happen in the future..... but i know 75% of the why..... and the info is out there if you know where to look and whom to listen to....

i have seen that happen to a smaller degree when there have been bigger quakes here, but these spikes are huge and some are at places that dont normally get them

I think Mother Earth is definitely doing some housecleaning!! I'm sure that, explainable or not, we will continue with a lot of big quakes... at least for a while. Just have to be prepared.
