In one of the other SH threads somebody referenced a tv series called "10.5: Apocalypse" - a couple of episodes were instant play on Netflix - so I watched it. Its very soap opera quality - but visually you'll see what could happen if the salt domes began to collapse and create a quake that travels up the NMSZ. Watching it now, in light of what we are seeing unfold gave me a sense of the magnitude of the situation. No wonder Matt Simmons was sounding the alarm, the force of the water along the fault rips everything apart. Very sobering. Hope the best goats and Gaia can hold it together... |
