How old is the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ)?
Has the NMSZ been the only seismogenic zone in the Embayment or is the seismicity moving around different locations?
Do as-yet undiscovered, active fault lines run under the Mississippi River?
Water seeks the lowest point. Does the Mississippi river flow the way that it does because fault lines running the length of the river have shaped where those lowest points are?
How do the Mississippi River and the aquifer interact with each other?

Notice on the Bz (down), that there seems to be a line on the 2.75 area that El Q has mentioned in the past with larger EQ's possible. Just wondering if this is happening now??

This is not scientific in anyway shape or form. When I lived there, I NEEDED to get to Colorado. After only 3 months living there (I worked at APD the whole time I lived there), it was a constant worry for 8 years. Not one reason as I wasn't awake then, just that I needed to get away from that flat land and to higher ground. It didn't help at all when the hurricane went through and they broader up all the windows at the PD all the way up to the 4th flood - you know how far you are from the coast. You know how far bad weather from tropical storms come inland. You know what would happen if there was an increase in sea levels of only 50-100 feet.

The first thing you do, is look at the man made worries that are in and around you. Nuclear, chemical waste dumps, your elevation and at the same time, the easiest way the Gulf can and will make it inland. Your escape routes, how congested will it be, even the back roads? How near you are to the boarder of Mexico and what that will or won't mean for you. After you look at all those things, then ask yourself how safe Texas is when it comes to earth changes?

I am not much into what I call weird music (it's an age thing, hush), so only clicked it for a moment then kept it to watch later.

This is a video that everyone should watch, especially teenagers who feel no one understands them, that nothing they do makes a difference, that causes them depression and lack of self esteem! We are all waking up and they are too but are alone with no one to point them in the right direction. I for one, will make sure my struggling daughter watches this video to show her all those feelings she has are signs of GREATNESS
