Its like stretching a rubber-band. The stress it puts on the rubber until it finally snaps.

Because this isn't just Geological but also Meteorological and Celestial... many precursors are possible.

So the Geological precursor would be a huge, unprecedented EQ.... or massive volcano eruptions, sinkholes, etc.

Meteorological precursor i believe we started to see beginning of the year with all the record breaking events.... and are continuing to ramp up (Sandy)

Celestial precursor i believe to be the elevated levels of protons/electrons/gamma rays etc. (mixed with unknown particles) ...... a dead solar max...... weakened magnetosphere.

No coincidence we are seeing precursors from all three.... what's causing one is causing all.

I want to apologize to everyone here for my rant yesterday. Especially to you WhiteAngel. You were just giving your thoughts and opinion. I took offense when I shouldn't have. Here is the online seismo. You can see there is continuous action, although I'm not sure how to read this in respect to magnitude of tremors and was wondering if these are harmonic tremors:

Also, when doing research on the North American Craton, I found this map.

I never heard of this Accretionary Belt that runs along the North American Craton (in green on the map). The map states it welded to the Craton over the 600 million years since the Craton was last active.

I thought it was interesting that this Accretionary Belt includes the areas in South America and Peurto Rica/Virgin Islands which have been very active,along with the entire west coast of North America.

Any way, would appreciate thoughts on this matter.
