To recap; on October 22, 2012 at 21:33 MT was our last big flare - X 1.8 from 1598. It was just around the western limb and though I didn't write it down, around -80 to -75 longitude if memory serves me correctly. Yesterday we had several M class flares from 1613 with the large of the 3 at M 6.0. This occurred at -60 to -50 longitude. Since early this morning or around 10:00 UTC activity has dropped way down. [ link to www.solarham.net] To me, this activity should have been further along than this already with 1610 firing off at least, if the theory we have been talking about with the "something" that was drawing the energy of the sun had of lined up more with earth facing flares. Here is where 1610 is: [ link to www.solarham.net] Isn't this where we thought the activity should be coming from now or by the first part of next week? Is my timing off and this should be happening around the 17th - 20th? They have fired recently about 10 deg. farther west and are now slowing down. My thought was right at or after turkey day.Now 1611 is starting to morph a bit and could refuel. Do you see the drastic energy jump from the last two days. I believe we'll be in line for a firing like this at or after thanksgiving,thats just my postulation. Theres a possibility we're looking early December even.  You know there is another major alignment the first part of Dec right? And no, there isn't anything around the 21st except the so called galactic alignment which I am not sure of.
