Re: F.O.G.
Read a book recently based on what happens when the ocean's floor opens up and millions of tons of methane are released, one tiny spark and KABOOM. The explosion would be so bad that it would burn the oxygen for many miles around (it seemed fantastic but I think it was 100's of miles) so that those not instantly incinerated died from suffocation as there was no oxygen left. This was based on the drilling that was suppose to be going on around the Canary Islands which causes the volcano to explode causing a huge landslide and cracks the ocean floor. This would have effected all of the east coast of the Americas and depending where the spark happened would be how far inland the oxygen burn off would happen.

Yet, they just keep on drilling in areas that are dangerous.

Made me very glade that I live so far inland from any type of open water!

The tsunami from a resultant canary island landslide could cause wave heights in excess of over 100'. All of florida would be under water

Yes, I've read a lot about methane it's scary to say the least and poor EC has 2 acres of it sitting in her back yard at that sinkhole!
Methane caused the extinction event 250 million years ago With some theory's such as 'a very big asteroid hit the ocean where Antarctica is now (the crater of which they've found), which created a huge shock wave around the Earth coming back to focus in Siberia-to-be, opening enormous lava fields known as the Siberian Traps, but that's not what caused the death of 95% of all life, up to that point it was only equal to the dinosaur killer, but it caused about 5 degrees Celsius warming, which in turn triggered a sea floor clathrate (frozen methane) melt. That's because methane is a greenhouse gas which warmed the world further, spurring more ocean warming, more clathrate melting (with horrible consequences for the sea water too) until finally all available clathrates were gone. Only a few reptile species survived, among which were the common ancestors of dinosaurs and mammals.' Large Methane fields on the ocean floor when released they are saying will cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunami's.
Keep drilling yeah...Doom on!

Not debunking this, don't get me wrong. I do think there are some sounds out there that are like this and unexplained. For those, you see people all over looking around, spooked. This one, you don't see anyone looking up, looking around. If we humans actually are meant to hear the Trumpets mentioned in the book of Revelations, seems like EVERYONE would be freaking out. Can you image that sound being heard by everyone at the Super Bowl? Mass panic.

Did that make sense AK?

Having server issues again :( Tried to post this twice already...

WA your reply makes perfect sense and I agree with you 100% I just put it out there. We have heard this sound before on other videos remember the mating fish from Washington last year? and the metalic noise we heard here as an earthquake pre-cursor. Just thought it odd the Friars named it that I believe as you, if we are to hear Revalations trumpets it will be for all mankinds ears. hf

Work continues near sinkhole that swallowed man
SEFFNER, Fla. (AP) — Engineers worked gingerly Saturday to find out more about a slowly growing sinkhole that swallowed a Florida man in his bedroom, believing the entire house could eventually succumb to the unstable ground.

It could be days before officials decide whether they will attempt to recover Jeff Bush's body, and they were still trying Saturday to determine the extent of the sinkhole network and what kind of work might be safe. As the sinkhole grows, it may pose further risk to the subdivision and its homes.

Bush, 37, was in his bedroom Thursday night in Seffner — a suburb of 8,000 people 15 miles east of downtown Tampa — when the earth opened and took him and everything else in his room. Five others in the house escape unharmed.

On Saturday, the normally quiet neighborhood of concrete block homes painted in Florida pastels was jammed with cars as engineers, reporters, and curious onlookers came to the scene.

At the home next door to the Bushes, a family cried and organized boxes. Testing determined that their house also was compromised by the sinkhole, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue spokesman Ronnie Rivera. The family, which had evacuated Friday, was allowed to go inside for about a half-hour to gathering belongings.

Aliy is so down to Earth wish her and all the racers safety and God Speed.
Iditarod runner-up seeks to become first woman champ in 23 years

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, March 2 (Reuters) - A New England transplant who finished a close second last year is considered a strong contender to win going into Saturday's launch of the 41st Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, seeking to become the first female champion in more than two decades.

Aliy Zirkle, 43, of Two Rivers, Alaska, faces a competitive field of rival mushers in the storied 1,000-mile (1,600 km) race from Anchorage to Nome, including her husband, Allen Moore, who won the less-famous Yukon Quest International sled-dog race two weeks ago.

She said she feels no particular pressure as a female contender in one of the few notable American sporting events in which men and women compete on equal footing and that last had a woman winner 23 years ago.

"I kind of like to do what I do for myself, not because of my gender, and (for) my dogs," Zirkle said in an interview on Thursday.

Zirkle said she understands that to some women and girls she has become a role model. That realization, she said, dawned on her after she won the 2001 Yukon Quest - becoming the only woman to win that grueling 1,000-mile race.

"When I got to the finish line, and all these women were there with their daughters, and I got all these letters saying, `You're an inspiration,' then it kind of hit home. Maybe I do have an influence," she said.

Zirkle was the runner-up in last year's race, won by Dallas Seavey, who is entered this year as well.

Awesome Little Book I couldn't put it down

When God Winks:
How the Power of Coincidence Guides Your Life
by
Squire Rushnell
It is not by accident that you just picked up When God Winks. Whether you call it synchronicity or coincidence, what brought you to this book today is worth remembering. In fact, you may have suspected all along that there is more to coincidence than meets the eye. These seemingly random events are actually signposts that can help you successfully navigate your career, relationships, and interests. SQuire Rushnell shows us that by recognizing our "God Winks," we can use the untapped power of coincidence to vastly improve our lives.

The author applies his compelling theory as to why coincidences exist to fascinating stories in history, sports, medicine, and relationships involving both everyday and famous people including Barbra Streisand, Charles Schulz, Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Costner, Mark Twain, and Presidents John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.

When I read this this other day, it just gave me the creeps. Yes I know there are locust plague many times over history and they don't point to End Times, I honestly understand this. It is just recently so very many things are pointing to a massive change coming and it just keeps me thinking about all the many prophesies; Bible, Hopi, and others.

Meteorites have hit Earth over and over, but now it seems connected, like a Sign. Yes I have my belief in Jesus and God, but that doesn't mean I am not a bit spooked right now.

Meteor lurked for thousands of years before blasting Russia, experts say
Now that they're worked out the orbital path of the meteor that blew up over Russia last month, scientists are saying that the asteroid behind the blast crossed Earth's orbit regularly for thousands of years. Two weeks ago, it looked as if the 1.1 million residents of the city of Chelyabinsk had been hit by a cosmic stroke of bad luck — but now they're talking about turning the most powerful asteroid impact in more than a century into a tourist attraction.

The Feb. 15 aerial explosion and the shock wave it set off caused an estimated $33 million in property damage, much of it in the form of shattered windows and weakened walls. It also injured about 1,200 people, with most of them hurt by the flying glass from those windows. Authorities started the cleanup work almost immediately, while researchers rushed to figure out the scale of the explosion.

Based on the readings from infrasound sensors stationed all over the world to monitor nuclear-weapons tests, NASA said the energy release was equivalent to 500 kilotons of TNT, or roughly 30 times the energy released by the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima at the end of World War II. That translated into an object about 17 meters (55 feet wide), weighing 10,000 tons. The space agency said it was the biggest cosmic impact recognized since the 1908 Tunguska asteroid blast that leveled millions of trees in Siberia.

Less than a week after the blast, Colombian astronomers worked out a rough orbital path for the Chelyabinsk asteroid, based on an analysis of the videos captured by dashboard cameras and traffic cams in the area. On Friday, NASA produced a more definitive orbital track, based not only on the videos but also on the readings from the federal government's space sensors. The report took advantage of a recently signed agreement with the Air Force Space Command for the public release of previously hush-hush data.

Sizing up a superbolide
Friday's assessment is the first entry in a new NASA database for fireballs and bolide reports, which classifies the Chelyabinsk meteor as a "superbolide."

The latest readings confirm the conclusion that the object's orbit ranged from the main asteroid belt, beyond the orbit of Mars, to well within Earth's orbit. They also show that the Chelyabinsk asteroid's approach couldn't have been detected by ground-based optical telescopes because the space rock was hidden in the sun's glare. Hmmm, seems we spoke of this theory...wonder what else is out there lurking that we can't see? hiding

Thank You so much I love your posts too!
I found myself on a new life path several years ago driven to search for correct, accurate information to questions effecting my family, friends and community. Since then the topics and questions have expanded quite a bit. There is also a compelling desire to share the knowledge unearthed to help everyone learn, grow, see and understand the many possibilities that could effect us. A strong sense the more we share and learn the better informed we are not only to help each other find answers but also to share the amazing discovery's being brought to the forefront each day that enlighten us. Things that put you in awe, those that make you think and wonder and question 'what if' leaving you searching, hungry for more.

I know a GOD WINK brought me here.

CO-IN-CI-DENCE- A sequence of events that although accidental seems to have been planned or arranged.

WINK- To give a signal or express a message AH Dictionary

GOD WINK- A personal signal or message, directly from a higher power, usually, but not always, in the form of a coincidence-SQuire Rushnell

I found GLP completely by coincidence I was searching for a Bible passage. I was a lurker forever wanting to post but so apprehensive. I remember the first time I posted as an AC on ELQ's thread I was so scared but felt excited and exhilarated at the same time. Thinking that maybe what I had to say would make a difference in some small way... then the wait...suddenly... a response! I still get that feeling when I think I've found something and post it I hope I never lose that.
The 'Night Shift' was so gracious I felt I had known them for years. They were also quick to correct me when I was wrong lol I have much respect for all that gather on EL Q's thread and here.
The FOG family is a safe haven, home to kind and loving souls that are very wise. The people that gather here emit much love, lifting each other up with comradery that touches the heart. Everyone is welcome there are no strangers, no right or wrong posts, we are all trail blazers reaching for the stars. How awesome is that!
I love watching new people arrive, reading their first post, then their response when they are welcomed with open arms just as I was. Coincidences happen for a reason, and that's to let you know one thing: You are never alone.SQR
