A possible meteor has been spotted streaking through the sky over the East Coast, The American Meteor Society and Twitter users are reporting.

"It basically looked like a super bright shooting star," said Robert Lunsford, fireball coordinator for the society, based on the reports coming in to the organization's website. "I saw some people mentioning fragments and naturally every color of the rainbow."

The society, based in Geneseo, N.Y., was researching about 400 reports received as of about 10 p.m. ET Friday from nine East Coast States and Canada of sightings that took place somewhere shortly before 8 p.m. ET through shortly after 8 p.m. ET, Lunsford said. The number of reports marked a possible record over the number of reports the group received about a fireball that streaked over Baltimore on Halloween several years ago, Lunsford said.

Meantime, Twitter was exploding Friday evening with reports of meteor sightings from the South to New England.

Some Twitter users also reported that the meteor crashed somewhere near the Delaware-Maryland border, but the society had no information on that, Lunsford said.

AccuWeather.com (@breakingweather) tweeted that there have been several unconfirmed reports of a large meteor being spotted from Florida to Massachusetts between 7:55 p.m. and 8:03 p.m. ET.

Reports of a fireball that streaked over the Albany, N.Y., area shortly before 8 p.m. headed south or southeast was reported by Examiner.com.

The fireball was green and had a "fairly long tail," the Examiner reported, adding that it lasted for a few seconds.

Thanks been trying to educate my customers for years unfortunately many don't seem to care wanting instant gratification will buy big box store plants then bitch when they don't produce, hold up, have bugs.They turn a blind eye to what they are growing to feed the family and what is happening with cross pollination. Sad but true.

Hey, no I did not hear them. I have a new job and have been working my tail off this last week. I did notice on my way to work that they were chemtrailing the heck out of the sky towards the rising sun the first of the week. I was so freaked out at the checkerboard I called my friend and got her out of bed to go look. I count five planes!

Seem the quakes are picking up

Just as expected, the energies streaming towards the inner solar system would reach unprecedented levels soon, between the last days of March and the whole month of April. There may be large quakes looming in the horizon. I had just asked Andromedan contactee Tolec at Youtube, and he said he "aniticpates" open contact with the Andromedans to begin next month in April 2013.

Since that EQ monitoring website is for Spain and Pyrenees is part of Spain the EQ register the quake. But it wasn't near the Canary Islands. Sorry for the late response.

The black bundle in the back are the field cap lines , our polar magnetism is drawn out into the magnetotail and its being snapped or pushed back in, very strange signature. Notice the red closed field lines are bound up in it also. There were definite energies hitting yesterday and they weren't from the sun, at least the ones I experienced.Peace all.

That clearly shows our planet is now increasingly being exposed to new energies in space. Shada, ET contactee Tolec told me that there might be open contact with the Andromedans starting next month in April. What do you think of that? Will it happen? I hope it happens because this messed up planet needs some real positive paradigm shift.

Also asteroid message from NASA....we are getting it from the outside and whatever it is ...and I think whatever it is causing our core to expand. Has to be heat or radiation. Core expands...volcanoes go off...ash goes into atmosphere to deflect light...heat...radiation....sun is quiet...GRBs should not affect us this much....has to be energy from other source.

SG I don't know what to believe these days, there are things going on in our world(planetary,system, and galactic regions)that are beyond the norm. Spread across 29 lengthy scientific papers, Planck's precise measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB)--remnant light from the very early universe, just 370,000 years after the big bang--confirm that the universe is about 13.8 billion years old and is dominated by dark energy, with dark matter playing a significant supporting role and normal matter (the atoms of the everyday world) constituting just a few percent of the overall contents.
In short, the Planck data seem to contain no major surprises, although they confirm a few outstanding anomalies from Planck's CMB-measuring predecessor, NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP). In an intriguing anomaly, the CMB appears somewhat asymmetrical, as if the universe were a little lopsided

On March 27, 1964, at 5:36 p.m. ADT (03:36 3/28 UTC) a great earthquake of magnitude 9.2 (moment magnitude) occurred in Prince William Sound region of Alaska. The epicenter was about 10 km east of the mouth of College Fiord, approximately 90 km west of Valdez and 120 km east of Anchorage. The epicenter was located at Lat. 61.04N, Lon. 147.73W, at a depth of approximately 25 km. This earthquake is the second largest earthquake ever recorded in the world. after a M9.5 earthquake in Chile in 1960. The duration of rupture lasted approximately 4 minutes (240 seconds).
