This was up the road from me. I didn't feel it but my one dog the smaller one has been growling off and on for about 1/2 hour and is laying in bedroom doorway I haven't found a reason for her growling, the other one is right up against the bed?

I'm sorry for the drama of my leaving days ago. I guess I still have some ego trips left in me. I felt like I concentrate so hard on this forum that I'm not doing service for others. GLP can be a vampire sometimes and I get so involved in so many things I become consumed and my spiritual journey falters,but.... I also realized in the last couple days , after alot of meditation and contemplation I need you guys to help me deal with the craziness of this world. You are a family to me and I need you guys and gals.I've got a big venture planned so I will be gone alot, but will still check in as much as possible!

The 1964 Alaskan earthquake, also known as the Great Alaskan Earthquake, the Portage Earthquake and the Good Friday Earthquake, was a megathrust earthquake that began at 5:36 P.M. AST on Good Friday, March 27, 1964.[2] Across south-central Alaska, ground fissures, collapsing structures, and tsunamis resulting from the earthquake caused about 143 deaths.

The powerful earthquake produced earthquake liquefaction in the region. Ground fissures and failures caused major structural damage in several communities, much damage to property and several landslides. Anchorage sustained great destruction or damage to many inadequately engineered houses, buildings, and infrastructure (paved streets, sidewalks, water and sewer mains, electrical systems, and other man-made equipment), particularly in the several landslide zones along Knik Arm. Two hundred miles southwest, some areas near Kodiak were permanently raised by 30 feet (9.1 m). Southeast of Anchorage, areas around the head of Turnagain Arm near Girdwood and Portage dropped as much as 8 feet (2.4 m), requiring reconstruction and fill to raise the Seward Highway above the new high tide mark.
In Prince William Sound, Port Valdez suffered a massive underwater landslide, resulting in the deaths of 30 people between the collapse of the Valdez city harbor and docks, and inside the ship that was docked there at the time. Nearby, a 27-foot (8.2 m) tsunami destroyed the village of Chenega, killing 23 of the 68 people who lived there; survivors out-ran the wave, climbing to high ground. Post-quake tsunamis severely affected Whittier, Seward, Kodiak, and other Alaskan communities, as well as people and property in British Columbia, Oregon, and California. Tsunamis also caused damage in Hawaii and Japan. Evidence of motion directly related to the earthquake was reported from all over the earth.

I'm not sure how much longer we will stay. My husband and I are going to sit down this afternoon and have a very serious discussion about it.

I just checked the seismos and they are wild. No work going on so it is real tremors and not man made.

I just wonder how much longer it will be until we start to feel them here? I know the dogs feel the ground movement already. Maybe when we get a good shaker people around here will finally sit up and take notice.

Hang on to the Erin Brockovich info because if we have to go and loose everything somebody is going to get litigation like they never thought possible.

I think BP is the cause of the change in climate - or at least made it worse. The LA sink hole, yup, I blame them also.

When the BP disaster happened, it was made very clear that this would have generational consequences world wide as it would change the flow of the Gulf stream current, which in turn would effect the rest of the ocean currents.

Won't watch the destruction of our animals, not depressed but sure not walking on cloud 9 either, so don't want to get lower feeling. Isn't it amazing how the death of animals seems to hurt us more than humans? We are so callous to the demise of our own kind that we seldom cry unless it is a small child or an ancient. The Good Book stated we would loose our natural love for one another. Sure looks spot on!

Roberta Carney, the state Division of Homeland Security and Emergency management's deputy director, was just 5 years old-- but she recalls the day vividly.

"It looked like war had happened," Carney said. "There were fires, there was destruction and of course we all had people we loved and knew in those communities, so it was pretty traumatic."

Carney says she was living in Palmer when she saw her neighbor's house move.

"We watched the ground roll so much that the house next door would drop below the six-foot fence and you couldn't see the roof, and then it would pick up and you could see all of the house in the front yard," Carney said.

There wasn't a system in place at that time to warn citizens of the tsunami that followed the earthquake.

EC if you're looking for a place to go, not too far away, look into Huntsville. We got a lot of people up here after Katrina. My wife, kids and I cooked food in our kitchen and brought it to the people stuck in hotels with no where to go. We were feeding about 200 people a day while we worked to get them more permanent help. We met a lot of good LA people in the process. We still have jobs and housing.
Prayers are with you, hope things work out for you guys.

One last thing before I run. Cosmic rays have been high of late,could be where the energy is coming from I'm feeling along with a coronal hole. They massively chemtrailed all day today. Splittin Cesium says hes noticed crazy mood shifts with this incoming energy. Everyone at work complaining about being severely tired, more than just a couple. I've had massive pressure headaches which tells me its probably a GRB effect.

How interesting that SC weighed in on the incoming - I noticed this and was puzzled by feeling extremely tired today, no reason for it, that I could think of and then I read your post! Thanks!

The NK talk of nuking America was something until today was just talk and nothing more than a peacock strutting his feathers to show he can. Today, I have finally gotten a bit worried. Do we need to worry about this? Not looking for platitudes but your honest opinions. Is this a real possibility or is MSM just hyping this all up?

Hi WA, I've been reading the various NK threads and it seems that those who've followed the story for some time are split about 50/50 on whether any real action would take place. However, if there is an alliance with a major player, then I think we have a potential situation. But, this is only my opinion and not based on long term research.

I read more of 'me tell u' thread that TT posted and think its relevant to this story, too.

What's your intuition saying to you?
