Proton levels extremely high for this event. It may be the consecutive flaring, but these are X flare numbers. Could be from the magnetic mixing, releasing a massive proton blast or maybe fluffy is finally interacting with the earthside flux, very possible for an energetic event to carry baggage with it. The sun is an enigma! magnetic plasma spheres shooting out the last couple days and then this monster proton flare from a relatively meek looking sunspot, something isn't adding up. There are oother things in play with this
