I honestly don't believe 1734 being south of the equator is going to do much. Everything northern hemisphere related has mingled magnetics. You look south it is still waiting for northern polarity to mix and become volatile. Theres nothing there to viably cause a big energetic event. Everything of notice will be from the north at least until we have mingled magnetics throughout! Just my 2 cents!
Theres compromise in the north, the south still has the same nonelectromagnetic influence

I wanted to post this so you guys get an idea of what we've got going on solar wise.

This shows the magnetic setup and current flows of the sun , you can see 1734 the big sunspot in the middle of the southern hemisphere doesn't have mixing convective currents right now but 1739 to the northleft(east on the sun), has magnetic mixing from both polarities, which is the reason its been giving us high Cs and Ms in the flare dept.
