Torsten P. Kersten I spent hours again and again to train my eyes on solar coronal typics by observing GOES.. [ link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] The predicted Watch is now here. Wind speeds have risen and the electron flux is high and may cause charging on satellites. The G1 watch remains in effect and an electron alert has been issued by NOAA. Cause from both the Coronal hole AND the CME from the 21st. [ link to www.facebook.com (secure)] When "they" said that CME wasn't going to hit earth, I knew it was, even tho it came off the south eastern limb (i.e., generally away from earth). I commented on it on GT500's earthquake thread saying, the magnetic field lines were going to sweep it toward us.
