Bubonic plague seems to show minor outbreaks in NM almost every year... at least it did when I lived there. One year, a fairly near neighbor got the plague. He picked it up while out grazing his sheep.

It was really bad in the prairie dog populations, which were extensive around my house and the cats hunted them in place of mice! I went on panic mode until speaking with some of the locals to find out what they did.

I didn't like the smell of a local plant they used as a flea repellant. Michael Moore, the herbalist, had a shop in Santa Fe back then and he made some recommendations that worked.
He had me paint all the door and window frames, as well as the porches, with pennyroyal oil. Told me to keep the immediate area and my critters dusted with DE, as well as treat the rugs with it each week, vacuum, then leave it in the canister overnight before emptying.

DE is Amazing! Still use it a Lot today.

Re: F.O.G.
Scientists monitor Carson City earthquake swarm – potential to result in major quake
une 24, 2013 – NEVADA – Nevada seismologists and emergency managers say they’re monitoring an earthquake swarm in Carson City that has the potential to result in a major temblor. But officials from the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, stress they can’t predict how the sequence of over 120 minor quakes that began June 1 will play out or if it will result in larger events. The largest quakes of the swarm have been one of magnitude-2.9 on June 5 and two of magnitude-2.8 on Thursday and June 16. While each has been followed by many smaller quakes, no injuries or major damage have been reported. UNR seismologists say based on past seismic activity in the region, the probability of larger quakes increases as sequences progress. They say the swarm is of concern because it may be associated with the Genoa Fault Zone, which is capable of producing major quakes of magnitude-7 or more. Nevada is the third most seismically active state in the nation behind California and Alaska.

hiMorning All!
Thanks for the videos TT guess that explains what I posted at 2:30AM lol.
I'm sending the below to SO remember the other day when Dett made a movie and he dismissed it as a lens flare glitch? Well,Intellihub posted a article this AM I'm going to see what he says now.
won't let me post here-google; Jupiter sized Object discovered next to Sun

Here's his response
This happened years ago and recurs every so often. It is damage inside the camera/lens. It never moves, which is how you know it isn't out in space. My best guess is cosmic ray or plasma damage.

I am surprised intellhub published that - they should know better.

We have had some really strong thunder storms this evening and I wasn't able to see the moon. Just went out and the clouds had broken up enough to view a rather odd sight.

The moon is dark orangish colored, and tinting the clouds around it orange also. It brought to mind the prophecies of a blood red moon, even though I know it is from all the ash in the sky from all the fires the Southwest is having.

Here is the odder thing...last night the moon was poor white!! Shouldn't it have been orangish last night also if it was just from the fires? This isn't just a slightly tinted orange, it is dark orange. Not only that, we just had heavy rain for several hours.

Clouds have covered it again but through the haze it looks lighter more white now. Gotta say, it was wild. Daughter is trying to get her good camera set up, we'll see. Guess it was just a lot of fire ash in the sky at that time, higher than the cloud level.
