Most ominous in the USGS’s concerns about “earthquake booms,” this EMERCOM report says, are the increasing number of them being heard in the Richmond, Virginia area these past few months, which was near the epicenter of the 23 August 2011 earthquake and may be heralding a new series of seismic events are about to occur, American scientists fear.

As to the preparations being made by the Obama regime should the worst fears of the USGS be realized, this EMERCOM report says, can be gleaned from a recent email sent out by former South Dakota Senator Sheldon R. Songstad to his friends and family that was leaked to the American public and which details steps now being taken for FEMA Region III:

The preparations listed include;

Nine-week training course for UN Peacekeepers in CONUS to learn Urban Warfare, English, and US weapons systems beginning 4th week of July for 386,000 troops to be completed by October 1st;

$11 million in antibiotics to be delivered to FEMA region III by October 1st ordered by CDC;

FEMA purchase orders for over $14.2 million for MREs and heater meals to be delivered to Region III by October 1st;

FEMA purchase orders for 22 million pouches of emergency water to be delivered to region III by October 1st;

FEMA purchase orders for $13.6 million for MREs and heater meals to be delivered to Austin by October 1st;

2800 MRAPs must be delivered to DHS by October 1st

To if the American public living in this now feared FEMA Region III area will be warned by the Obama regime of the dangers they are facing it remains highly unlikely, especially when viewed in the light of Australia’s 60 Minutes News Programme this past week [watch video HERE] [link to sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au] detailing how the these people were lied to and deceived by their own government over the massive poisoning of the Gulf of Mexico by BP after the 2010 Deep Water Horizon Disaster.

Last Sunday, 60 Minutes revealed that two chemicals, which become highly toxic when mixed with oil, have been used in Australian waters to clean up two recent oil spills.

The chemicals are COREXIT 9500 and COREXIT 9527.

When COREXIT 9500 is mixed with oil, toxicity to biological matter increases 52 fold.

Both chemicals were used in the Gulf of Mexico after BP’s Deep Water Horizon oil spill in 2010 - the world’s worst ever offshore oil disaster.

In the three years since the US disaster, tens of thousands of Americans have fallen ill and some have died.

Marine life, including dolphins and turtles, continue to wash ashore on a regular basis, poisoned by the oil and COREXIT mixture.

60 Minutes revealed that 2000 litres of COREXIT 9527 was used to clean up the oil spill when the Chinese bulk carrier, the Shen Neng, ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef in 2010.

45,000 litres of COREXIT 9500 and 9527 was used to clean up the Montara Oil spill, 220 kilometres off the coast of Western Australia.

60 Minutes also revealed that 19,000 litres of COREXIT 9500 is currently stored in Darwin and Gladstone, and would be used if an oil spill occurred today.

This Sunday, we reveal that the Australian Maritime Safety Authority has changed its stance, but the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority is still refusing to act.

An AMSA spokesperson told 60 Minutes:
"AMSA has an ongoing program to dispose of obsolete stocks of oil spill dispersants. Since 2011, AMSA has disposed of 199, 520 litres of oil spill dispersant, including all its stocks of Corexit 9527, and in accordance with this program all of AMSA’s stocks of Corexit 9500A will be disposed of by the end of the year. AMSA engages chemical waste disposal companies who are required to certify that the disposal has been completed in accordance with environmental regulations and best practice.
AMSA can only comment on its stockpiles of dispersant."

Forecasters predict heat of at least 95 degrees through Saturday. The usual warnings apply. Drink lots of water. Avoid prolonged strenuous activities in the warmest parts of the day. Keep a close eye on the young and very old. Many schools across the state are closing early due to the heat. Check the list of central Iowa schools at DesMoinesRegister.com/closings. Most school buildings in the Des Moines metro area are equipped with air conditioners, but an estimated 12-15 percent of schools across the state are not. Polk County Health Department officials announced an overnight cooling shelter will be available from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 4300 Beaver Ave. Cots, water and food will be provided. SF FILLING RESERVOIRS IN AS FIRE APPROACHES SUPPLY
TUOLUMNE CITY, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco water authorities are scrambling to fill area reservoirs with water from their source in the Sierra Nevada before ash from a wildfire near Yosemite National Park taints supplies.

Ash from the 234-square-mile fire has been falling on the city's Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in Yosemite, but so far hasn't sunk far enough into the lake to reach intake pumps.

General Manager Harlan Kelly Jr. of the city's Public Utilities Commission said Monday the city has a six-month supply on hand. If ash eventually causes turbidity, the city will begin filtering supplies. He was unsure of the cost.

The agency also is checking 12 miles of hydroelectric transmission lines that supply city facilities. An emergency declaration has allowed the city to spend $600,000 for power on the open market
