Dr Death suicide film being shown in schools: Euthanasia fanatic gives workshop on how to kill yourself in educational video for 14-year-olds

if a couple of the last few remaining tribes on earth can still successfully teach their 4 & 5 y.o. children how to wield machetes and assist in cutting twine and preparing dinner, i think 14 year olds can be entrusted with enough intelligence to explore euthanasia.

Church leaders are mostly idiots.

Few, if any, have actually worked in hospice conditions dealing with the terminal ill who are sent home to die.

Once a person does that for a few years, their attitude toward humane euthanasia changes.

Many, perhaps most, of the terminal ill people I dealt with reached a point where they wanted it over. Cancer can be a cruel, slow torture with incredible pain and terrible loss of function, thus a loss of dignity and independence which most people take for granted, until they lose it.

After the tenth person begged me to 'help them' out of the world, my attitudes on 'no death' changed to an understanding that being humane does not mean forcing a person to live extra time over allowing that person living for as long as the quality of life is worth it.

We in the western world have focused on length of life over quality of life, which leads to cruel and unusual punishment for many.

This is fucked up. The things we do to make a profit...

This is a terrible idea. There are many suicidal kids who will definately try this if it is made to look so normal and glamorous. This is really abetting murders.

Suicide is the easy way out that lands you in hell for eternity or labeled a mental patient the rest of your life. It is not worth fooling around with . The real heroes stick it out and make the most of their lives for better or worse.

Your life is a gift from God. As long as you have that you have proof that you are better than what is trying to destroy you. Have faith in your ability to live and you will get stronger or at least spite death a little longer.

Every life is worth living. Learn to accept pain and don't let it destroy you. Happiness comes and goes but a strong spirit lasts forever.

So you think this video about terminally ill patients is gonna cause 14 year olds to suicide? Where are they going to get the I.V. drugs? Where are they going to get the needles?

Your christian viewpoint is flawed. People are extending their lives through artificial methods, this is contrary to the natural schedule your supposed god put in place. If you actually followed the bible you wouldn't survive cancer or other disease nearly as long. Infection would be deadlier, as would many symptoms that modern science now controls with ease.

How can you say that keeping people alive past their bodies' innate abilities is "worth living"?

When kids turn fourteen that is a critical time when they are just growing up and trying to find their place in the world. If they feel hopeless or helpless about it as many of them do, this stupid suicide movie will give them the idea that suicide is a way out of pain, life or problems. It is not.

All it is is a way to stop breathing, lie in a box in the ground and then what follows. All your problems will still be there but now you won't be able to solve them. You won't be able to stand up to the people who hated you and say well look at me, I survived.

There are ways to get around pain. Pain makes you stronger. Pain is no excuse for death. Pain means you are alive. Death means that your life is over.

Think about this. They aren't even showing this to people in pain in a hospice, they are showing it to kids in school going through struggles of growing up. It sends a very bad message.

People in the hospice don't need to die either. There are things called opiates that kill pain. There is also codeine and alcolhol. There are also cures. That is not even the issue.

There are kids who are bullied and want to die from that. There are kids that are lonely and want to die from that. There are all kinds of pain in this life and killing people doesn't solve the problem.

When suicides increase, they will say but how did that happen?

WAKE up people...its called indoctrination! How better to control society than teach the young that they don't need the knowledge of the older generation! Straight from the NWO playbook!

Opiates, huh? Have you ever had to take large amounts of opiates on a regular basis? It's not living at all, it's existing only. It takes away rather than adds to living.

Kids who are upset and hurt or kill themselves existed before this video, and they will exist if this video never gets seen. Also, this video doesn't display a method they can use on themselves. This video doesn't aid them with methodology, nor does it imply that life isn't worth living. It's implying that the terminally ill have another option. A right no religious viewpoint should be allowed to remove.

Hospice IS the issue, because it's the actual topic of the video. The wording of the article is inflaming the topic. It's an informative video on potential hospice programs.

tptb don't want us to die painlessly, they feed off our pain. I wish they sold euthanisia kits at walmart, I know I would buy one, if shit ever gets too bad then at least I could go out with dignity, not screaming in agony gasping for breath like most people end up doing.

Our schools are running out of funds but can always find the money to teach sex/ gay sex/ and now its alright to kill grandma or grandpa who are suffering and you would be doing the state a favor taking one more off our bankrupted SS system? what if one of these kids becomes a aide or nurse in a senior home and starts helping them along, hey they aren't going to get any better just waiting to die and they are teaching it is humane just like putting your dog to sleep when he gets old and sick. More money out for harmful ideas to some sick kids.

I don't have a problem with this, it sound like a fascinating and interesting topic. Only the stupid among y'all probably should not watch this. .. On second though, ha, show it to everyone, the only danger in doing so would be a world without idiots the day after, lol.

Well one could say, that if I can use euthanasia to prevent the materialization of "bad Karma" into suffering from a terminal illness, in each of my lives, then I'm completely fine with damaging my Karma by doing so. Just please somebody kill me if I get born with dementia, but then, I probably wouldn't care if you didn't.

Anyway, Karma is bullshit, just like the rest of all the religious crap used to make our lives harder through the centuries.

When a person gets to a point where they are puking and shitting on themselves constantly, can't breath, can't eat, cant stand up much less walk, can barely speak, are unconscious a good majority of the time..it's time to go.

Have you ever had the pleasure of suffering through excruciating pain that made you want to die? I have..I understand the desire to make it stop by any means possible. In my situation the problem was handled..was not long term suffering and pain. For people that are slowly rotting away and are completely miserable I think they should be allowed to die.

The god shit you and others toss out there, keep it to yourselves. It's none of your business how a person chooses to live, or die for that matter. You make it sound as though the people choosing to end it are doing so with ease, I can assure you that's often not the case. What a terrible decision to have to make. We are not our bodies, we should not be bound to our bodies when they no longer function.

There seem to be people here who worship death. That is a shame. I agree that people should be taught about the immortality of the human soul. Instead they are told the lie that killing yourself will end suffering. It will not. It will put you to sleep and delay the inevitable.

We are here to overcome our problems. That is the adventure of life. That is the truimph of life when you succeed. They are just brainwashing these kids to be failures and to deny others the pleasure of struggling through their own hardships.

A man in pain can still feel joy, can still sense love, can still persevere. I can't imagine that both sides of the story are going to be taught in this philosophy class.
