What hiding? You could have gone to [link to www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov] for example and seen what today's (or rather yesterday's) UV levels were for the U.S.A. Of coure you prefer to state that the Government is hiding everything from you.. I wonder can you even see teh Sun or are they hiding the Sun from you too?

You can also get the UV index levels for your Zip Code area as well at [link to www.epa.gov]

For my zip code the forecast for the April 17th day time UV index is at a 6, which is 'High' : "Protection against sun damage is needed. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses, use sunscreen SPF 15+ and wear a long-sleeved shirt and pants when practical. Reduce your exposure to the sun's most intense UV radiation by seeking shade during midday hours."

Perhaps its things like your local TV or Radio station or the MSM or the Weather Channel that are not reporting the UV reports from the government services. So blame the media perhaps rather than the government -- just for a change, eh?

Again the above link is not GAMMA RAY exposure but rather Ultra Violet Light exposure.

Also of note for the April 16th were in fact the solar incoming X-Ray levels.. hard to say where they hit the hardest. Definitely not the highest they get, pretty mid level stuff on the 16th. But the X-Ray hits are always something to be on the look out for, especially the "X" and higher levels. Me, I've been reading of the possible nuclear fission reactor at the Earth's Core... lol.
