Here is an idea. Suppose it's propaganda to recruit useful idiots from a different demographic than the tough yet dumb, Kansas farmboy. They are reaching out to the nerd in his parent's basement smoking bud and playing Halo, Call of Duty and other war games. The glasses that can zero on a target, the three moons, the reference to science fiction as science fact...come on guys.
