CREEPY!! Why Do I Have To Tilt My Head Now To See the Man In The Moon Face???

Am I the only person to notice this? It is not normal for the moon to change positions like that. I assume it is actually the earth that is off kilter??? No comments?

I have noticed this since last summer. Ive been telling people about this for a year but no one seems to care. Its very strange indeed. When the moon rises the man in the moons eyes are at 9oclock position and by the time it sets the eyes side of the moon is at the 3oclock position.

When i bring this up to people most have a weird kind of reaction like they cant remember if the moon is suposed to behave this way. Then when I show them they say wow thats weird, i dont rememberthat. Then they blow it off like it was nothing lol!

could it be a result of an earth axis shift?, more specifically a result from the water displacement from China's three gorge dam project? could it be that they are downplaying this effect?

You are right about the reaction. I just talked to my son and he was very quiet, like he thought his Mom was going nuts. haha. I am 66, I know I have always seen that face straight up normal, never deviating! Why are people blowing it off? I think I am going to just not talk about it.

since childhood, ive always seen a face on the moon, it always scares me and i hate that look. when i was a kid, i thought its just my imagination, but probably there is a reason, or some kind of weird message... i guess we dont know much about moon, and even less we ve been told...=( there are too many legends.. in many cultures of the world, and many stories, when there was no moon before.. or there were even two moons. so, who knows, what we will find out after some time!

Yes, I think it was probably meant to be a benevolent look, but i,too, think it is weird. I always thought it strange, also, that when there is an eclipse the moon is an exact fit over the sun.

No its not normall asshat... Ive been watching the moon for 30 years and I would have noticed this behavior before last summer.

Also please explain how it is common knowlege that one side of the moon allways faces us, but no one, untill now, noticed that the moonface is rotating clockwise 180 degrees from the time it rises to the time it sets.

If you dont believe it all you have to do is look with your own eyes.

This daze people are in is very, very strange. I just watched the documentary, featured on another thread this morning, called "The Awakening" on YouTube. Good luck on more than .01% grasping that. Do you ever wish you were just still in the dark?

I am also surprised to see how often the moon is tilted and everyone says it's always been this way.
I don't doubt them, just I've always remembered it being the classic vertical crescent.

If the moon face has allways been rotating it would be common knowlege. There would even be stories and fables written to explian why the moons fase rotates clockwise.

This is a new behavior plain and simple. You dont need a link or a video or a pic to see it, it happens every night right before your naked steaming eyes. All you have to do is look.

I dont know what it means but it happened around the time NASA intentionally crashed a rocket into the moons surface in an attempt to suposedly kick up enough dust to see if there was ice crystals in it.

Although I remember reading another article around that time that was claiming an asteriod impacted the dark side and changed the moons orbit and the rocket crash was NASAs attempt to try to fix the problem.

I noticed that last night and broke out pictures to prove the moon or earth shifted. The earth and moon are phased locked so you are suppose to see the same side and view.

Interesting article. Yes, it is rotating clockwise, and then by morning it has completely rotated counterclockwise. I wonder does this mean it is actually the moon that is doing this, or the earth movement?
