FOR ALL YOU MATH GENIUSES -- SOLVE THIS!!!!
Okay, I was listening to the radio and this guy was asking how many miles our national debt would be if we stacked \$1.00 bills on top of each other.

Given info:

Current debt: 14,286,247,307,360.00 (fourteen trillion, two hundred eighty-six billion, two hundred forty-seven million, three hundred seven thousand, three hundred sixty) Whew!

5280 feet in a mile = 63,360 inches per mile

A stack of 100, \$1.00 bills is about 1/2 inch.

How many miles does a stack off \$1.00 bills at the amount of our current national debt go?
But my friends! Assaults by fanatics on safety does NOT justify assaults, by the government, on our freedoms!

14,286,247,307,360 / 100 = 142,862,473,073.6 stacks of 100x1 dollar bill.

142,862,473,073.6 / 2 = 71,431,236,536.8 inches

71,431,236,536.8 / 63,360 = 1,127,386.9 miles

We can answer that in 8 months when we are all carting around buckets of cash a mile high just to buy bread.

To give you folks a little context:

The moon is on average 238,857 miles away

The stack of bills would easily go all the way to the moon...nearly five times...
Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.
