800 calories is kind of low.
make it 2000 calories, all the food groups,
(not too much carbs) (no saturated fat) and
take a vitamin pill every day.

2000 calories is way too much for me. I gain weight if I eat that much. About 1400-1600 is ideal for me.

yes, muscle mass: if you don't eat enough, the body
begins to metabolize it's own protein -- that
means it starts eating it's own muscle tissue,
and one of the first muscles it goes for is
the heart muscle... not good.

Many emotionally eat which is sad. And some have thyroid problems and hormonal problems which can make you feel awful and then lead to emotional eating.

At least you don't have that problem. Just carry snacks with you and take a multivitamin/mineral supp.

I have a relative who got mercury poisoning from eating 3 cans of albacore tuna a week for almost a year. He had to get chelation when it was figured out he wasn't having strokes but problems associated with being poisoned.

After a few years he is doing much better but will not touch tuna again. The big fish are really contaminated. The smaller fish less so.

He had to have a hair analysis to figure this out because neurologists were stumped. In fact, the whole family went in to get their hair analyzed and his mercury was off the charts and his family was fine because they rarely ate it.

So just be careful is all I am saying and if you eat the cheap tuna a few times a month then it should be no big deal.
