Has 6000 calories per regular sized container and good fat source. Seems like he said 10 pounds per person for one year, don't quote me on that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1157206Cool, thanks, sounds like I need to get more then. |

I dont know I read before even past a couple years it doesn't go rancid if unopened, it starts to separate which you can just stir it up.. I don't know for sure though I don't have any first hand experience. |

Maybe have a couple lbs on hand until you can grown your own nut farm to make your own butter. ;) PS: Peanut butter shuts up a yapping dog REAL FAST. Also for other potential use: to lure an animal to a trap. ;) "You'd better get yourself a garlic T-shirt, buddy, or it's your funeral." Edgar Frog - The Lost Boys |

TrixieMama User ID: 1311280 United States 04/19/2011 12:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Any other thoughts on Peanut Butter? Quoting: Ben Dover 1273159You can get powdered peanut butter that tastes great and has a long, long shelf life from some disaster preparedness sites. I have some store bought and the powdered on hand. Use the store bought first since it will go bad quicker and then use the powdered. :) "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me" Phillipians 4:13 "I shall call upon the name of the Lord who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies" Psalm 18:2-4 "In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God." Nothing more since it is made with milk, it'd go bad. It is VERY good........ so sinfully delish! I buy 1 jar a month and that is to take care of all my chocolate cravings, I dip a spoon in and enjoy my pure "chocolate bliss"...
