when i sleep and awake I know that I have been dreaming but usually I can not remember my dream when I wake up.

Over the last 2 weeks I have been having nightmares that when I awake I am screaming and in a cold sweat all over my body.

My first dream that I can recall was of 3 tidal waves crashing into our house, after the first wave hits my 2 dogs from childhood show up. The second wave lifts the roof of the house and slams it back down like a tornado would do, when the third wave hits i wake up.

My second dream I can remember I am in prison, me and my 2 friends are talking and the buzzer sounds signaling us to return to our cells. I see two wallets belonging to my 2 friends and cash laying on the ground so i return to where we were talking to pick them up and immediately I am an escapee being chased. Next thing I know I am in a house with all black people I ask if anyone has a car, One woman says she has one and we are in a parking garage, once we leave the garage we are in a wooded area with many state police looking for me the escapee, I jump from the car to run up the hill to hide and get away when many men holding guns comes from the top.....I surrender and lay flat they start to cut something that is on my hands and i wake up. again terrified and in a cold sweat.

I do not know what these dreams mean but I am 40 years old and have not had dreams like this in more than 15 years. It is disturbing to say the least.
