We use primary colors because the eyes are drawn to them... They get attention. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1284560no, thats now what i'm saying. it also depends on the sequence of the colors (red-blue-yellow-green) and generally on the usage. also those are not primary colors. in additive color mixing there is no yellow because you get yellow when you mix green light with red light. with subtractive mixing it is cyan, yellow, magenta, but no blue and green. We use primary colors because the eyes are drawn to them... They get attention. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1284560with that i can agree. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1336535 Switzerland 04/19/2011 04:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | why would the same letter refer to two different colors? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 967382i have no idea why. that's just the way it is. they also map on the four suits of the tarot deck: I - wands - king (fire) H - cups - queen (water) V - swords - prince (air) H - disks - princess (earth) It's also the name of Levantine storm god but thats another post. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 967382i remember jordan maxwell suggesting, that it may describe the sound of an energy-release. like what happens when you try to hold a garden hosepipe shut, and then fill it with water. or a written "BOOM"(fire)/"SPLASH"(water) sound in comic book style. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1360948 Switzerland 04/29/2011 09:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is an old loading screen from Google Earth: [link to farm1.static.flickr.com] The configuration of the four balls is again red-blue-yellow-green (counter-clockwise). See how the word "Earth" is written in green, as corresponding to the color of the element earth. But when refering to earth as the Planet it is using the blue ball (earth is the blue planet). M&M's [link to images.lighterside.com] Notice, that M is the 13th letter of the alphabet. M&M is therefore like 13 + 13 = 26. that's the numerical value of the tetrageammaton (I=10 + H=5 + V=6 + H=5). Kabbalists like to divide the 26 into 13 + 13 for: A(1)+Ch(8)+D(4) = 13 A(1)+H(5)+B(2)+H(5) =13 meaning: one (or unity) and love. There is also another typical configuration. It's arranged in a square, that stands on it's edge and goes like this: air / \ fire+water \ / earth It's meant to be understood as fire and water, balancing up into air and condensating down into earth. Red and blue would therefore be exchangeable in this arrangement (because fire and water are balanced). But yellow (air) has to be on top and green (earth) on the bottom: Yellow / \ Blue Red \ / Green The X-Box controller: [link to upload.wikimedia.org] Rose Cross Lamen: [link to upload.wikimedia.org] Reunion Flag: [link to en.wikipedia.org] Flag of South Africa: [link to media.battlestarwiki.org] |
