OP, i get the feeling you were around during the BP gulf spill and were making similar claims.
Do you remember these claims during the BP crisis:
Jetstream gone
Gulfstream stopped
All sea life in the gulf to die
Will not recover from this disaster.
Its not even a year since that disaster and everyone have forgotten about it. Now they all move on to a new doom.
What are the chances that in one year time no one will even talk about Fukushima and try to hold on to a new doom.
Don't you see? Its not about what is really happening. For you guys is about what is in fashion.

Yup, you are right and its called business as usual. Don't you realise that doom dates have been coming and going in the last 2000 years? Do you think your era is the only one with doomsayers such as yourself? Every now and then there will be some adjustments in the world and sometimes a bit more than the others. Its not a big deal if you concentrate on your own personal life and let it pass you by. Here in UK, i don't worry about who wins an election and how much taxes go up and down. I don't let the outside world rule my personal life and regardless of price of fuel i will still survive one way or the other. People who hold on to doom are the ones who are not happy within themselves and see no way out. See in their subconciouse they seek doom and hope a world wide doom will release them from the responsibility they have towards themselves. Can you perhapse see yourself as one of them?
